| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh pemberian suplementasi tepung daun kelor yang diproteksi ekstrak buah mahkota dewa dan ekstrak biji pinang terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organik pakan domba secara in vitro. Materi yang digunakan cairan rumen 2 ekor domba lokal. Pakan disusun dengan rasio 40% hijauan dan 60% konsentrat. Hijauan berupa rumput lapang, konsentrat terdiri dari dedak padi 42%, bungkil kelapa 17%, tepung jagung 21%, tepung ikan 18%, garam dapur 1%, mineral mix 0,5% dan kapur 0,5%. Penelitian eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan yaitu P0 : pakan dasar ditambah 15% daun kelor tanpa proteksi, P1 : pakan dasar ditambah 15% daun kelor yang diproteksi ekstrak buah mahkota dewa 0,75% (BK konsentrat), dan P2 : pakan dasar ditambah 15% daun kelor yang diproteksi ekstrak biji pinang 0,75% (BK konsentrat). Setiap perlakuan diulang enam kali, sehingga terdapat 18 unit percobaan. Hasil penellitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ekstrak buah mahkota dewa dan biji pinang sebesar 0,75% (BK konsentrat) belum mampu memproteksi protein daun kelor ditinjau dari kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organik pakan domba. |

Inggris) | The aim of this study was to examine the effect supplementation of Moringa leaf flour feed protected by the Mahkota Dewa fruit extract and Pinang seed extract on the dry matter and organic matter digestibility sheep feed an in vitro. The material used is rumen fluid 2 local sheep. The feed arranged at a ratio of 40% forage and 60% concentrate. Forage consisted of field grass, the concentrate consists of 42% rice bran, 17% coconut oilmeal, 21% corn ground, 18% fish meal, 1% salt, o.5% mineral mix and 0.5% limestone. The study used an in vitro experimental method, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments, namely P0 : feed basal plus 15% of Moringa leaf without protection, P1 : feed basal plus 15% of Moringa leaf protected by extract Mahkota Dewa fruit 0.75% (DM concentrate), and P2 : feed basal plus 15% of Moringa leaf protected by extract Pinang seed 0.75% (DM concentrate). Each treatment was repeated six times, so that there were 18 experimental units. The results of the study showed the use of the extract Mahkota Dewa fruit and Pinang seed at 0.75% (DM concentrate) has not been able to protect the Moringa leaf protein in terms of the dry matter and organic matter digestibility feed of sheep. |
