| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Salah satu unit pengelolaan Perhutani yang mengembangkan hutan jati adalah Kesatuan Pemangku Hutan (KPH) Banyumas Timur. Hutan jati yang dikelola KPH Banyumas Timur terdiri dari berbagai kelompok umur. Umur tegakan berkaitan dengan tutupan tajuk dari pohon di sekitar tumbuhan bawah dan berpengaruh terhadap keanekaragaman tumbuhan bawahnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman dan kemerataan jenis tumbuhan bawah pada berbagai umur tegakan Jati (Tectona grandis L.) di KPH Banyumas Timur. Penelitian dilakukan di Hutan Jati BKPH Kebasen, KPH Banyumas Timur, dengan tiga kelompok umur tegakan yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada berbagai umur tegakan jati di KPH Banyumas Timur terdapat 34 jenis tumbuhan bawah dari 17 famili. Mimosa pudica (L.) dan Curcuma longa (Linn.) merupakan jenis tumbuhan bawah yang tumbuh pada ketiga lokasi penelitian. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat diketahui bahwa keanekeragaman tumbuhan bawah pada berbagai umur tegakan jati di KPH Banyumas Timur yaitu semakin tua umur tegakan jati maka semakin menurun keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan bawahnya. Kemerataan jenis tumbuhan bawah pada berbagai umur tegakan jati di KPH Banyumas Timur merata. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | One of the management units of Perhutani that develops teak forests is the Forest Management Unit (KPH) of East Banyumas. Teak forests managed by the KPH of East Banyumas consist of various age groups. Age of stands is related to canopy cover of trees around undergrowth and affects the diversity of the undergrowth. The purpose of this study is to determine the diversity and evenness of the types of undergrowth in various ages of stands of Teak (Tectona grandis L.) in KPH of East Banyumas. The study was conducted at the BKPH Kebasen’s Teak Forest, KPH of East Banyumas, with three different standing age groups. The results showed that at various ages of teak stands in KPH of East Banyumas there were 34 species of undergrowth from 17 families. Mimosa pudica (L.) and Curcuma longa (Linn.) are the species of undergrowth that grow in all three research locations. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the diversity of undergrowth at various ages of Teak (Tectona grandis L.) in KPH of East Banyumas, the older the age of the teak stand, the lower the diversity of undergrowth. Evenness of the undergrowth species at various ages of the stands of Teak (Tectona grandis L.) in KPH of East Banyumas is evenly distributed, so there is no dominant species. |
