| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian berjudul “Bias Gender Dalam Keluarga Poligami”, analisis semiotika tentang persepsi pelaku poligami terhadap pernikahan poligami dalam film “Berbagi Suami” ini berfokus pada persepsi dan perlakuan dari pelaku poligami dalam film tersebut.film Berbagi Suami mengangkat potret fenomena poligami yang terjadi di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi pelaku poligami terhadap pernikahan poligami, serta mengetahui bentuk perlakuan pelaku poligami terhadap istri-istri mereka dalam pernikahan poligami yang tergambar dalam film ‘berbagi suami’. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan spesifikasi penelitian deskripsi yang fokus pada analisis semiotika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Melalui analisis semiotika Roland Barthes dengan pemaknaan denotasi dan konotasi, peneliti dapat memahami pesan atau simbol-simbol melalui dialog, pengambilan gambar dan gerak tubuh pemain Berbagi Suami. Berdasarkan data yang telah diteliti, hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa persepsi dan perilaku pelaku poligami yang melakukan poligami didorong oleh dua faktor yaitu 1) faktor personal yaitu faktor yang berasal dari diri sendiri.Adanya persepsi yang terbentuk dari pengalaman, lingkungan, emosi dan ingatan-ingatan masa lalu, seperti adanya larangan agama untuk menghindari zina, dan pengalaman di dunia kerja. 2) faktor situasional yaitu faktor yang berasal dari luar individu tersebut, seperti karena adanya perasaan membutuhkan seperti dorongan seksual, perasaan ingin cintai dan diperhatikan. Poligami sebagai bentuk ketidakadilan gender diantaranya karena poligami menempatkan perempuan sebagai subordinat; termajinalkan dalam pengambilan keputusan dan dunia kerja; beban ganda yang dialami perempuan yang berpoligami cenderung lebih berat; perempuan dijadikan sarana pemuas kebutuhan seksual, sehingga mudah terjangkit penyakit yang menyerang organ vital perempuan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kesadaran pada masyarakat bahwasannya saat menonton sebuah film dibutuhkan sikap kritis untuk tidak hanya menerima cerita yang disuguhkan dengan apa adanya penonton harus lebih aktif dalam menggali pesan-pesan yang tersirat dalam sebuah cerita atau adegan sehingga penonton tidak hanya menjadi korban cerita tetapi dapat memahami cerita yang disampaikan melalui film tersebut. |

Inggris) | The research of “Gender refraction in the Family of Polygamy”the semiotic analysis about perceptions of polygamists towards polygamy marriages in the film "Berbagi Suami" is focused on the perception and treatment of polygamists in the film. Film "Berbagi Suami" raises a portrait from the phenomenon of polygamy that occurs in Indonesia. The purpose of this research was to determine the perception of polygamists about polygamy marriages, and also to find out the form of the treatment of polygamists towards their wives in polygamy marriages which was pictured in the film ”Berbagi Suami”. In this research, the author uses a qualitative methodology with research specification descriptions that focus on semiotic analysis. In this research uses Roland Barthes's semiotic approach, through analysys of Roland Barthe’s semiotic approach with meaning denotation and connotation, the author can understand the messages or symbols through dialogue, shooting and gestures from the actors of “BerbagiSuami”. Based on data that has been studied, the results of this research shows that the perception and behavior of polygamists who do polygamy is driven by two factors, that is1) personal factor, which come from themselves. There is a perception that is formed from experiences, environment, emotions and memories of the past, such as the prohibition of religion to avoid adultery, and experience in the world of work. 2) situational factor, the factor come from outside individual, which is due to a feeling of need, like sexual urges, the feeling be loved, and sense of want to be noticed.Polygamy as a form gender injustice, because of polygamy place women as subordinates: marginalized in decision making and world of work. Polygamous women have a double burden experienced: women made the object of satisfying sexual needs, so easily infected which attacks the vital organs of women. The research is expected to provide awareness to the community, that when watching a movie, critical nature is needed, so not only accept stories that are presented as is. The audience must be more active in exploring the messages implicit in a story or in a scene. So the audience does not only fall victim to the story, but also can understand the message conveyed by a film. |
