| Judul Artikel | KAJIAN METABOLIT SEKUNDER JAMUR ENTOMOPATOGEN UNTUK MENGENDALIKAN PENYAKIT LAYU FUSARIUM TANAMAN CABAI IN PLANTA |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh metabolit sekunder jamur entomopatogen terhadap penyakit layu fusarium pada tanaman cabai, (2) mengetahui pengaruh metabolit sekunder jamur entomopatogen terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan screen house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman pada bulan Maret sampai Juli 2019. Pengujian in vitro menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan 5 ulangan dan in planta menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan meliputi kontrol, metabolit sekunder Beauveria bassiana isolat Jember, Beauveria bassiana isolat Papua, Metharizhium anisopliae isolat Papua, dan Lecanicillium lecanii isolat Papua. Variabel yang diamati meliputi daya hambat, masa inkubasi, intensias penyakit, tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, dan kandungan senyawa fenol (tanin, saponin, hidrokuinon) secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat metabolit sekunder jamur entomopatogen mampu mempengaruhi daya hambat terhadap pertumbuhan jamur fusarium berturut-turut sebesar 50,62; 50,64; 48,62; dan 56,62%, memperpanjang masa inkubasi berturut-turut sebesar 71,05; 73,38; 64,89; dan 68,57%, menekan intensitas penyakit berturut-turut sebesar 99,999; 99,999; 99,994; dan 99,995%, dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman berturut-turut sebesar 15,22; 18,8; 21,14; 21,69%, meningkatkan panjang akar berturut-turut sebesar 22,61; 25,71; 26,34; 33,50%, dan meningkatkan kandungan senyawa tanin, saponin dan hidrokuinon dibandingkan kontrol. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research aimed to know (1) determine the effect of secondary metabo¬lites of entomopathogenic fungi on fusarium wilt on chili plants, (2) to determine the effect of secondary metabolites of entomopathogenic fungi on the growth of chili plants. The study was conducted at the Plant Protection Laboratory and the screen house Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Sudirman University from March until July 2019. In vitro test used a Completely Randomized Design with 5 treatments and 5 replicate and in planta using a Randomized Block Design with 5 treatments and 5 replicatie including control, secondary metabolites Beauveria bassiana Jember isolate, Beauveria bassiana Papua isolate, Metharizhium anisopliae Papua isolate, and Lecanicillium lecanii Papua isolate. Variables observed included inhibition ability, incubation period, desease intensity, plant height, root length, and phenolic compounds (tannins, saponin, hidroquinone) qualitatively. Results of the research showed that the four secondary metabolites of entomopathogenic fungi were able to inhibits the growth of fusarium fungus by 50.62; 50,64; 48,62; 56.62%, extend incubation periods of 71.5; 73,38; 64.89; and 68.57%, suppress disease intensity by 99.999; 99,999; 99,994; and 99.995%, can increase plant height by 15.22; 18.8; 21.14; 21.69%, increasing the root length by 22.61; 25,71; 26,34; 33.50%, and can increase the content of tannins, saponins and hydroquinone compounds compared to controls. |
