Purwokerto : Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Penelitian ini berjudul Kohesi pada Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi yang Dibuat Siswa Kelas X Jurusan MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah keingintahuan penulis untuk mengamati penggunaan kohesi gramatikal dan kohesi leksikal dalam teks laporan hasil observasi dari KD 4.2 Menyusun Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi dengan memerhatikan aspek kebahasaan. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskripstif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk peranti kohesi gramatikal dan kohesi leksikal yang digunakan oleh siswa kelas X jurusan MIPA di SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dan mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan penggunaan peranti kohesi gramatikal dan kohesi leksikal yang ada dalam teks tersebut. Kohesi gramatikal adalah hubungan antarunsur dalam wacana berdasarkan segi bentuk atau struktur lahir wacana. Kohesi leksikal adalah hubungan antarunsur dalam wacana berdasarkan struktur batin wacana. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kumpulan teks laporan hasil observasi yang dibuat oleh siswa kelas X jurusan MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto. Bentuk data dalam penelitian ini adalah penggalan-penggalan kalimat dalam teks laporan hasil observasi. Metode pengumpulan sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak dengan teknik dasar sadap dan teknik catat sebagai lanjutannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode padan referensial dengan teknik pilah unsur penentu sebagai teknik dasar untuk menganalisis data. Teknik lanjutannya yaitu teknik hubung banding menyamakan dan hubung banding membedakan. Hasil analisis data disajikan dengan metode formal dan informal. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukan penggunaan kohesi gramatikal dan kohesi leksikal. Penggunaan peranti kohesi gramatikal sebanyak 69 data atau setara 60,25%. Penggunaan peranti kohesi leksikal sebanyak 47 data atau setara 38,72%. Peranti kohesi paling banyak digunakan yaitu kohesi gramatikal referensi dengan jumlah 27 (23,2%) dan paling sedikit yaitu kohesi leksikal ekuivalensi dengan jumlah penggunaan 2 data (1,72%). Jumlah kesalahan penggunaan peranti kohesi dalam teks tersebut sebanyak 4 data (3,44%). Jadi, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah teks laporan hasil observasi yang dibuat oleh siswa kelas X jurusan MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto hanya terdapat sedikit kesalahan dalam penerapan peranti kohesi baik gramatikal maupun leksikal. Penggalan-penggalan kalimat dari teks tersebut dapat dijadikan salah satu bahan rujukan untuk pembelajaran, baik oleh guru maupun siswa |

The title of this research is “Kohesi Pada Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi Yang Dibuat Siswa Kelas X Jurusan MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto”. The form of this research is descriptive qualitative which aims to describe the form of grammatical and lexical cohesion used by the students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto in writing the observation report text and describing the errors form of grammatical and lexical cohesion in their texts. Grammatical cohesion is a relationship between the elements in a discourse based on the outer discourse form or structure. Lexical cohesion is a relationship between the elements in a discourse based on the inner structure of discourse. The source of data in this research is all of the observation report texts by the students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto, those are 46 texts. The data in this research is all of the sentences in the observation report texts. The data source collection technique use simple random sampling. The basic technique of data collecting in the form of sentence quote is reading method with non-participant observation technique and note-taking technique as the next technique. This research method is referential match technique (padan technique) with the direct elements dividing technique as a basic technique. Then, the follow-up technique is equate banding connection technique and differentiate banding technique. In presenting the result of this research used informal and formal methods. The results of this research were found grammatical and lexical cohesion used. There was found 69 grammatical cohesion used or equal to 60.25% with 27 reference details (23.2%), 8 substitutions (6.89%), 9 ellipsis (7.75%), and 26 conjunctions ( 22.41%). The used of lexical cohesion were found 47 or equal to 38.72% with 8 synonyms details (6.89%), 20 antonyms (17.2%), 2 equivalences (1.72%), 3 collocations (2 , 58%), 4 repetitions (3.44%), and 8 hyponyms (6.89%). The most used of cohesion is reference grammatical cohesion, which found 27 (23.2%) and the least is lexical cohesion equivalent with the number of uses is 2 (1.72%). The number of cohesion errors in the text is 4 (3.44%) with details of 1 ellipsis element from grammatical cohesion, 1 synonym element from lexical cohesion and 2 hyponym elements from lexical cohesion. So that, the conclusion of this research is the observations report texts made by students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto is solid, because there are only a few errors in the application of grammatical and lexical cohesion. |
