| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian berjudul “Pemberian Pakan Tambahan Lemak Tak Jenuh Terproteksi terhadap Pertumbuhan Bobot Badan Harian Ternak (PBBH) dan Indeks Konformasi Karkas Domba Ekor Tipis”. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 30 Agustus 2016 sampai dengan 30 November 2016 di Experimental Farm Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari pertumbuhan bobot badan harian (PBBH) dan indeks konformasi karkas. pada pemberian pakan tambahan lemak tak jenuh terproteksi dengan level yang berbeda. Ternak yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah domba ekor tipis jantan lepas sapih berumur 4-5 bulan berjumlah 18 ekor. Domba dipelihara selama 3 bulan diberi pakan konsentrat dan rumput gajah. Metode penelitian adalah experimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan penambahan pakan minyak ikan lemuru terproteksi dengan level PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acid) 0% (P0), 10% (P1), dan 20% (P2) dari konsentrat. Peubah yang diamati adalah pertumbuhan bobot badan harian (PBBH) dan indeks konformasi karkas. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan PBBH domba ekor tipis jantan pada perlakuan P0, P1, P2 berturut- turut sebesar 135,4 ± 21,44 gram; 123,06 ± 24,21 gram; dan 115,00 ± 35,20 gram setiap ekor per hari. Rataan indeks konformasi karkas domba ekor tipis jantan pada perlakuan P0, P1, P2 berturut- turut sebesar 0,3764 ± 0,0299; 0,3924 ± 0,0219 dan 0,3977 ± 0,0330. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa pakan tambahan minyak ikan lemuru terproteksi berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan bobot badan harian dan indeks konformasi karkas domba ekor tipis jantan. Pemberian pakan tambahan asam lemak tak jenuh dan protein terproteksi sampai level 20% belum dapat meningkatkan pertambahan bobot badan harian dan indeks konformasi karkas domba ekor tipis jantan. |

Inggris) | The study entitled "Giving of Additional Feed Unsaturated Acid Protected into The Average Daily Gain (ADG) and Carcass Conformation Index of Male Thin Tailed Lambs” The experiment conducted on 30th August until 30th November 2016 at the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Animal Science Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, Central Java. The aimed of this research was to determine and learning the average daily gain (ADG) and carcass conformation index on the supplementary feeding of unsaturated fatty acid protected by different levels. The lambs used in the research using a male thin tail lambs weaning age of 4-5 months totaled 18 heads, were growing for 3 months and were fed with concentrates and elephant grass.Experimental research method is using Completely Ramdomized Design (CRD) by treatment with the supplementary feeding unsaturated fatty acid protected with a level PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acid) 0% (P0), 10% (P1) and 20% (P2) of the concentrates. The variabels measured were the average daily gain (ADG) and carcass conformation index. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that ADG of male thin tailed lambs on treatment was 135,4 ± 21,44 gram; 123,06 ± 24,21 gram; and 115,00 ± 35,20 gram, respectively. The average of carcass conformation index of male thin tailed lambs on treatment was 0,3764 ± 0,0299; 0,3924 ± 0,0219 and 0,3977 ± 0,0330, respectively. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the supplementary feeding lemuru fish oil protected effect was not significantly different (P>0,05) in term of the ADG and carcass conformation index of male thin tail lambs. Supplementary feeding of unsaturated fatty acids and protein protected to the level of 20% can not increased ADG and carcass conformation index of male thin tail lambs.
