| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pada hakekatnya manusia adalah mahkluk sosial yang membutuhkan komunikasi antar sesama. Maka dari itu perkembangan teknologi komunikasi di jaman sekarang memudahkan media komunikasi yanag dapat digunakan, di era teknologi saat ini baik smartphone maupun notebook merupakan hal yang tidak terpisahkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Begitu pula dengan dunia permainan video (video game) saat ini telah mengalami berbagai kemajuan. Banyak game yang dapat dimainkan bersama (multiplayer) yang tidak menyediakan fitur kamunikasi antar sesama pengguna. Dengan berbagai inovasi mobilitas dari setiap orang semakin meningkat. Perkembangan memaksa setiap pribadi untuk tetap mengikuti perubahanan yang terjadi. Dalam hal ini, Discord Inc bergerak dibidang telekomunikasi dipandang tepat sebagai penyedia (fasilisator) dibagian telekomunikasi dan menangkap fenomena tadi, Discord Inc pun meluncurkan layanan metafora server dan seluler mirip dengan Internet relay Chat (IRC) meskipun server ini tidak memetakan ke perangkat keras atau server virtual karena sifat nya terdistribusi. Layanan tersebut dalam sebuah aplikasi yang di sebut dengan Discord, yaitu merupakan sebuah layanan aplikasi VoIP freeware ekslusif dan platform distribusi digital yang dirancang untuk komunitas game, yang berspesialisasi dalam komunikasi teks, gambar, video, dan audio antara pengguna salular obrolan. Aplikasi tersebut berjalan di Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux, dan browser web. |

So from that the development of communication technology in today's era facilitate communication media that can be used, in the current technological era both smartphones and notebooks are inseparable things in everyday life. Similarly, the world of video games has now undergone various advancements. Lots of fun that can be played together (multiplayer) that does not provide communication features between users. With various innovations, the mobility of each person is increasing. Development forces every person to keep following the changes that occur. In this case, Discord Inc. is engaged in telecommunications as a provider (facilitator) in the telecommunications sector and captures this phenomenon, Discord Inc. also launched a server and cellular metaphor Service similar to Internet relay Chat (IRC) even though this server does not map to hardware or virtual server because of its distributed nature. The Service is in an application called Discord, which is an exclusive freeware VoIP application Service and digital distribution platform designed for the gaming community, which specializes in text, image, video and audio communication between users of salular chat.
