| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh taraf suplementasi tepung daun waru dalam konsentrat pakan domba yang diberi jerami padi amoniasi terhadap konsumsi dan koefisien cerna protein kasar. Materi yang digunakan yaitu domba lokal jantan berumur sekitar 2 tahun. Pemberian konsentrat 3% berdasarkan bobot hidup ternak dan jerami padi amoniasi (JPA) diberikan secara ad libitum. Penelitian bersifat eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah dosis tepung daun waru 0%, 0,24%, dan 0,48%, untuk masing-masing W0, W1 dan W2 dan setiap perlakuan diulang 4 kali. Peubah yang diukur adalah konsumsi dan koefisien cerna protein pakan menggunakan metode koleksi total. Analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun waru berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi protein kasar, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap koefisien cerna protein kasar. Peningkatan dosis tepung daun waru (Hibiscus tiliaceus) menyebabkan respon kuadratik pada konsumsi protein kasar. Penambahan tepung daun waru pada pakan konsentrat yang disuplementasi probiotik tidak direkomendasikan untuk memperbaiki kecernaan protein kasar pakan domba lokal. |

Inggris) | This research was aimed to examine the effect of level of Hibiscus tiliaceus leaf meal supplemented in concentrate on consumption and digestibility coefficient diet protein of local sheep feed ammoniated rice straw. Material used were local male sheep aged around 2 years. Concentrate fed 3% of body weight and ammoniated rice straw (JPA) fed adlibitum. This research used completely random design (CRD) with 3 treatments. The treatments were level of Hibiscus tiliaceus leaf meal 0%, 0.24%, and 0.48%, for each W0, W1 and W2 and each treatment was repeated 4 times. The variables measured were consumption and coefficient digestibility using total collection method. Variance analysis showed that supplemented of Hibiscus tiliaceus leaf meal significantly (P <0.05) on protein consumption, but did not significantly (P> 0.05) on protein digestibility. Increasing level of Hibiscus tiliaceus leaf meal quadratic response on protein consumption. Hibiscus tiliaceus leaf meal fed was not recommended to improve digestibility of protein diet in local sheep feed. |
