| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh hormon eksogen terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kopi arabika, (2) pengaruh jarak pemotongan akar terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kopi arabika dan mencegah akar bengkok, (3) pengaruh interaksi antara hormon eksogen dan jarak pemotongan akar terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kopi arabika. Dilaksanakan di KP. Kaliwining Pusat Penelitian Kopi dan Kakao Indonesia sejak Desember 2018 hingga Maret 2019. Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan dua faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama, pemotongan akar dengan 3 jarak: tanpa pemotongan, pemotongan 3 cm, dan 6 cm dari leher akar. Faktor kedua, hormon eksogen pada akar dengan 3 macam: tanpa hormon, Rootone F dan Bio P60. Variabel yang diamati: (1) variabel nondestruktif: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan diameter batang, (2) variabel destruktif 50 hst dan 100 hst: panjang akar, volume akar, jumlah akar primer, bobot segar tanaman, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tanaman, dan bobot kering akar. Data dianalisis uji F dan uji lanjut Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (taraf kesalahan 5%). Hasil penelitian: (1) aplikasi Bio P60 dan Rootone-F meningkatkan selisih tinggi tanaman 25,71-28,05%, jumlah daun 15,56-18,98%, dan diameter batang 20,37-24,69%, serta meningkatkan pertumbuhan panjang akar 7,62-8,5%, volume akar 13,09-44,36%, bobot segar tanaman 29,93-45,35%, bobot segar akar 36,26-61,69%, bobot kering tanaman 26,81-39,37%, dan bobot kering akar 28,57-51,26%., (2) jarak pemotongan akar 3 cm meningkatkan jumlah akar primer 100 hst dan mencegah akar bengkok, (3) tidak terjadi interaksi antara hormon eksogen dan jarak pemotongan akar. |

Inggris) | This research aimed to know: (1) the effect of exogenous hormones on the root growth of arabica coffee seedlings (2) the effect of root cutting distance on root growth of arabica coffee seedlings and prevent the bent roots, and (3) the effect of the relationship between exogenous hormone and root cutting distance on the root growth of arabica coffee seedlings. This research was conducted at Indonesia Coffee and Cocoa Research Institue Farm from December 2018 to March 2019. Randomized Block Design with two factors and three replicaties. The first factor was measurement cut roots with 3 distances, without cut roots, 3 cm, and 6 cm cut roots from the kollum. The second factor was the application of exogenous hormone on the roots with three types, without hormones application, Rootone F and Bio P60. The variables observed: (1) non-destructive variables: plant height, number of leaves, and stem diameter. (2) destructive variables on 50 days and 100 days: root length, root volume, primary root number, plant fresh weight, root fresh weight, plant dry weight, and root dry weight. Data were analyzed by F test and further testing Duncan Multiple Range Test (5% error level). The results: (1) Rootone-F and Bio P60 application can improve plant height 25,71-28,05%, leaf number increase 15,56-18,98%, and stem diameter increase 20,37-24,69%, and improve the growth of root length 7,62-8,5%, root volume 13,09-44,36%, plant fresh weight 29,93-45,35%, root fresh weight 36,26-61,69%, plant dry weight 26,81-39,37%, and dry root weight 28,57-51,26%, (2) 3 cm cutting from the neck of the root incireases number of primary roots at 100 days and prevent the bent roots, (3) The interaction of the two treatments did not have a significant effect on all variables. |
