Indonesia) | Kepatuhan pengendalian infeksi silang adalah tindakan mengikuti aturan atau mengikuti standar yang telah ditetapkan dalam upaya pengendalian infeksi silang yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor di antaranya pengetahuan seseorang tentang kontrol infeksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan pengendalian kontrol infeksi pada mahasiswa profesi dokter gigi di RSGM Unsoed. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional. Survei dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner pengetahuan kontrol infeksi dan pengisian checklist kepatuhan kontrol infeksi sebagai metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada 64 responden mahasiswa profesi dokter gigi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square dan untuk mengetahui keeratan hubungan digunakan koefisien kontingensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup tinggi (46,90%) sedangkan tingkat kepatuhan tinggi (60,93%). Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan kontrol infeksi mahasiswa (p<0,05). Simpulan penelitian ini terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan pengendalian kontrol infeksi pada mahasiswa profesi dokter gigi di RSGM Unsoed. |

Inggris) | Compliance of cross-infection control is the act of following regulations or established standards as an effort to prevent cross- infection which is affected by several factors related to one's knowledge of infection control. The purpose of this study was to study the relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance towards infection control of dental professional study program students at RSGM Unsoed. The research method was cross-sectional. The survey was conducted by infection control knowledge questionnaire filling by respondents and observation of compliance of infection control using checklist by observer on 64 respondents of dental professional study program students. Data were analyzed using the chi square test and contingency coefficients to determine the relationships between the level of knowledge and compliance towards infection control. The results showed that the majority of students had high level of knowledge (46.90%) and high level of compliance (60.93%). There was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge with compliance towards infection control(p <0.05). The conclusion of this study is there was a relationship between the level of knowledge with compliance towards infection control at dental professional study program students at RSGM Unsoed. |
