| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji penggunaan berbagai probiotik cair terhadap peningkatan konsumsi dan kecernaan protein pada burung puyuh betina. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah puyuh betina umur 30 hari sebanyak 100 ekor dan 3 jenis probiotik cair. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah P0 : air minum tanpa penambahan probiotik, P1 : air minum dengan penambahan probiotik A 2 ml/liter, P2 : air minum dengan penambahan probiotik B 2 ml/liter, P3 : air minum dengan penambahan probiotik C 2 ml/liter. Pakan yang digunakan mengandung energi 3032,5 kkal dan protein kasar sebesar 22,16%. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan dengan uji lanjut BNJ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan yang diberikan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan protein puyuh. Perlakuan menghasilkan rata-rata konsumsi protein P0, P1, P2 dan P3 sebesar 3,40 gram/ekor/hari, 3,32 gram/ekor/hari, 3,44 gram/ekor/hari, 3,34 gram/ekor/hari. Kecernaan protein P0, P1, P2 dan P3 sebesar 85,90%; 86,24%; 86,17% dan 85,64%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pemberian probiotik cair 2ml/1liter air belum mampu meningkatkan konsumsi dan kecernaan protein burung puyuh betina. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purposes of this research was to evaluate the use of varied liquid probiotics to increased of protein consumption and digestion of female quail. The materials used in this research were female quails aged 30 days as many as 100 and 3 types of liquid probiotics. The treatments used in this research were P0 : drinking water without addition of probiotics, P1 : drinking water with addition of probiotics A 2ml/liter, P2 : drinking water with addition of probiotics B 2ml/liter, P3 : drinking water with addition of probiotics C 2 ml/liter. The feed used contained 3032.5 kcal of energy and 22.16% of crude protein.The research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The data acquired was analyzed by the analysis of variance and honesty significance difference test (HSD). Results showed that have not significance effect (P>0.05) on the protein consumption and digestion of the quail. The treatment produced an average protein consumption P0, P1, P2 and P3 of 3,40 grams /head / days, 3.32 grams /head / days, 3.44 grams /head / days, 3.34 grams /head / days. The treatment produced an average protein digestion P0, P1, P2 and P3 of 85.90%; 86.24%; 86.17% and 85.64%. it can be concluded that giving the liquid probiotics 2ml/1liter on dose water have not yet increase the protein consumption and the digestion of female quails. |
