Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Azolla (Azolla microphylla) terhadap kinetika temperatur dan pH dalam proses dekomposisi serta persentase rendemen. Penelitian dilaksanakan di UD. Sapi Amanah Farm (beef and sheep fattening), Desa Datar, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Bahan yang digunakan yaitu feses sapi potong 1.800 kg; Azolla 180 kg; serbuk gergaji 180 kg; abu 180 kg; aktivator 4,5 kg; dan kapur dolomit 36 kg. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap. Perlakuan penambahan Azolla antara lain P0 (kontrol), P1 (+10%) dan P2 (+20%). Peubah yang diukur adalah kinetika tempertur dan pH serta persentase rendemen. Pengamatan kinetika temperatur dan pH dilakukan sebanyak 8 kali dan persentase rendemen diakhir proses dekomposisi. Data dianalisis menggunakan Repeated Measures Anova dan ANOVA. Hasil kinetika temperatur dan pH serta persentase rendemen menunjukkan adanya interaksi yang nyata (P< 0,05). Hasil Least Significance Different terdapat perbedaan nyata yang bervariasi pada kinetika temperatur dan terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada kinetika pH dan persentase rendemen. Kinetika temperatur tertinggi perlakuan P1 (50,50oC) dan P2 (54,00oC) tercapai pada hari ke-4, sedangkan perlakuan P0 (50,33oC) tercapai pada hari ke-8. Kinetika pH terendah dicapai oleh perlakuan P0 (3,10) dan P1 (3,38) pada hari ke-20 serta P2 (3,20) pada hari ke-12. Persentase rendemen terbesar diperoleh dari perlakuan P0 (45,19%).

Inggris)The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Azolla (Azolla microphylla) addition on the kinetics of temperature and pH in the decomposition process and the percentage of yield. The research was carried out at UD. Sapi Amanah Farm (beef and sheep fattening), Datar Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The material used were 1,800 kg beef cattle feces; Azolla 180 kg; sawdust 180 kg; ash 180 kg; activator 4.5 kg; and 36 kg dolomite lime. The method used was experimental with a completely randomized design. Treatment of Azolla additions included P0 (control), P1 (+ 10%) and P2 (+ 20%). The variables measured were temperture kinetics and pH and percentage of yield. Observation the kinetics of temperature and pH were carried out 8 times and the percentage of yield at the end of composting. Data were analyzed using Repeated Measures Anova and ANOVA. The kinetics results of temperature and pH as well as the percentage of yield showed a significant interaction (P <0.05). Least Significance Different results have significant differences in temperature kinetics and there are significant differences in pH kinetics and percentage of yield. The highest temperature kinetics of treatment P1 (50.50oC) and P2 (54.00oC) were reached on day 4, while treatment P0 (50.33oC) was reached on day 8. The lowest pH kinetics was achieved by treatment P0 (3.10) and P1 (3.38) on day 20 and P2 (3.20) on day 12. The largest percentage of yield was obtained from treatment P0 (45.19%).
