| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Udang air tawar merupakan salah satu hewan yang hidup di perairan air tawar seperti waduk, danau, dan sungai. Salah satu jenis udang air tawar yang hidup di sungai berasal dari genus Macrobrachium. Udang Macrobrachium hidup di sungai yang berarus, terdapat kayu-kayuan atau tumbuhan ditengah atau tepi sungai. Sungai Pelus merupakan salah satu sungai yang mengalir di Kabupaten Banyumas. Salah satu aspek yang dapat dipelajari untuk konservasi sumberdaya udang di Sungai Pelus yaitu Kelimpahan dan Sex ratio dari udang Macrobrachium spp. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelimpahan dan Sex ratio udang Macrobrachium spp. di Sungai Pelus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Survey di empat stasiun Sungai Pelus yaitu Stasiun I di Desa Kutayasa, Stasiun II di Desa Kembaran, Stasiun III di Desa Ledug, dan Stasiun IV di Desa Suro, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Juli 2018. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive random sampling. Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini yaitu jumlah individu, jumlah individu jantan dan betina, Sex ratio, dan ukuran panjang total udang Macrobrachium pilimanus. Parameter pendukung yang digunakan adalah, parameter fisika yang terdiri dari temperatur/suhu, kecepatan arus sungai, dan Substrat dasar, sedangkan parameter kimia yaitu Dissolved Oxygen (DO). Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu salah satu jenis udang yang ditemukan pada Sungai Pelus adalah Macrobrachium pilimanus dengan kelimpahan tinggi berada pada stasiun II dan III (25 ekor) kemudian diikuti oleh stasiun IV (17 ekor), dan kelimpahan terendah di stasiun I (10 ekor). Perbandingan jenis kelamin (Sex ratio) pada stasiun I seimbang, didominasi oleh betina di stasiun II, sedangkan jantan didominasi pada stasiun III dan IV. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Freshwater prawn is one of the animals that live in fresh water such as a reservoir, lake, and river. One of the freshwater prawn that live in the river came from Macrobrachium genus. Macrobrachium genus lives in the flowing river, woody or plants that lived in the center or the edge of the river. The Pelus river is one of the rivers that streams in the Banyumas regency. One of the aspects that can be studied for prawn resource conservation in the Pelus river is the abundance and the Sex ratio from Macrobrachium spp prawn. The aims of this research are to know the abundance and Sex ratio of Macrobrachium spp prawn in the Pelus river. The research method that used is Survey at four stations of the Pelus river such as 1st station at Kutayasa village, the 2nd station at Kembaran village, the 3rd station at Ledug village, and 4th station at Suro village, Banyumas regency. The research has been done on May-July 2018. The sampling method used is purposive random sampling. The variable that observed in this research are the number of individuals, number of male and female individuals, Sex ratio, and the total length of Macrobrachium pilimanus prawn. The supporting parameters that used are the physical parameter that contains temperature, the speed of river flow, the basic substrate, while chemical parameter is Dissolved Oxygen (DO). The result of this research showed one type of Macrobrachium prawn that lives at Pelus River was Macrobrachium pilimanus with high abundance of M. pilimanus prawn in 2nd and 3rd station (25 individuals) followed by 4th station ( 17 Individuals, and the lowest abundance at 1st station (10 individuals). Sex ratio at 1st were balanced, 2nd station were dominated by the female , while in the 3rd and 4th station were dominated by the male prawns. |
