| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Coprinus comatus merupakan salah satu jenis jamur edibel dengan tubuh buah yang menyerupai paha ayam, mengandung bahan-bahan penting yang bermanfaat bagi tubuh manusia seperti protein, karbohidrat, dan lemak. Produksi jamur C. comatus di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah karena belum banyak yang mengembangkannya. Salah satu faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan budidaya jamur adalah kualitas bibit yang digunakan. Pembuatan bibit dimulai dengan penyediaan kultur murni berupa bibit F0 (stock culture) kemudian bibit F1 (starter). Bibit F1 jamur adalah bibit induk turunan pertama yang sangat mempengaruhi kualitas bibit pada turunan berikutnya. Penelitian terkait jenis medium yang baik untuk pertumbuhan miselium jamur diperlukan guna penyediaan bibit F1 sehingga dapat meningkatkan produksi jamur C. comatus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan jenis medium terhadap pertumbuhan miselium C. comatus serta mengetahui medium terbaik untuk pertumbuhan miselium C. comatus guna penyediaan bibit F1. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan berupa perbedaan jenis medium yaitu serealia (jagung, millet, dan sorgum), serta kacang-kacangan (kacang hijau dan kedelai). Tiap perlakukan diulang sebanyak 6 kali sehingga didapatkan 30 unit percobaan. Variabel terikat yaitu pertumbuhan miselium C. comatus, sedangkan variabel bebasnya berupa jenis medium yang digunakan. Parameter utama yaitu kecepatan pertumbuhan miselium C. comatus sedangkan parameter pendukung meliputi laju pertumbuhan miselium, ketebalan miselium, pH medium dan rasio C/N. Hasil penelitian memunjukkan bahwa perbedaan jenis medium berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan miselium C. comatus. Hasil uji lanjut Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) menunjukkan bahwa medium D (sorgum) merupakan jenis medium terbaik untuk pertumbuhan miselium C. comatus dengan rerata kecepatan pertumbuhan 0,424 cm/hari. |

Inggris) | Coprinus comatus is one type of edible mushroom with a fruiting body that resembles chicken thighs, containing important ingredients that are beneficial to the human body such as protein, carbohydrates, and fat. C. comatus mushroom production in Indonesia is still relatively low because not many have developed it. One of the factors that determine the success of mushroom cultivation is the quality of seeds used. Seedling production begins with the provision of pure culture in the form of stock culture F0 seeds, then F1 seeds (starter). Mushroom F1 seeds are the first hereditary seedlings that greatly affect the quality of seedlings in the next derivative. Research related to the type of medium that is good for the growth of fungal mycelium is needed to provide F1 seeds so that it can increase the production of C. comatus mushrooms. This study aims to determine the effect of different types of medium on the growth of C. comatus mycelium and to know the best medium for the growth of C. comatus mycelium for the supply of F1 seeds. This study used an experimental method on a laboratory scale a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Treatment in the form of differences in the types of medium in the form of cereals (corn, millet, and sorghum), as well as beans (green beans and soybeans). Each treatment was repeated 6 times to get 30 experimental units. The dependent variable is the growth of C. comatus mycelium, while the independent variable is the type of medium used. The main parameters are the speed of growth of C. comatus mycelium (mycelium length on growth medium) while supporting parameters include mycelium growth rate, mycelium thickness, pH of medium and C / N ratio. The results of the study showed that diferrent types of medium had a significant effect on the growth of mycelium C.comatus. Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) test results showed that medium D (sorghum) is the best type of medium for C.comatus mycelium growth with a mean growth rate of 0,424 cm/day. |
