| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor-faktor seperti modal, bahan baku, jam kantor dan tenaga kerja yang mempengaruhi produksi tahu. Peneliti menganalisis strategi yang baik dan efisiensi teknis bisnis tahu. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Produksi, Teori Efisiensi dan Teori Strategi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei dalam mengumpulkan data dari populasi industri tahu yang di desa Kalikabong, Purbalingga. Ukuran populasi adalah 56 responden. Berbeda dengan penelitian lain sebelumnya, penelitian ini tidak hanya menggunakan spss tetapi ada hal-hal baru seperti menggunakan stochastic frontier dan analisis SWOT. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah industri ditemukan memiliki tingkat efisiensi yang lebih tinggi sekitar 0,89. Bahan baku, tenaga kerja, dan jam kerja berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap produksi tahu sedangkan modal tidak signifikan. Menurut analisis SWOT bahwa industri tahu di Kalikabong berada pada pertumbuhan dan membangun posisi dengan pertumbuhan pasar yang cepat dan kondisi persaingan yang lemah. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study aims to examine factors such as capital, raw material, office hour and labor which influence tofu production. Researcher analyse goodness strategy and technical efficiency of tofu business. This study uses Theory of Production, Theory of Efficiency and Theory of Strategy. The research was conducted using survey method in collecting data from population of tofu industry who at Kalikabong village, Purbalingga. The population size is 56 respondents. Different with other research before, this study is not only using spss but there are novelty as follow stochastic frontier and SWOT analysis. The result of this study is that industry are found to have higher level of efficiency about 0.89. Raw materials, labor, and working hours are significant and positive effect to the tofu production while capital has not significant.. According to SWOT analysis that tofu industry at Kalikabong is stand on growth and build position with rapid market growth and weak competitive condition |
