| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan stek tanaman jambu citra (Syzygium samarangense) yang berasal dari sumber bahan yang berbeda; 2) mengetahui konsentrasi Rootone F yang paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman jambu citra; 3) mengetahui pengaruh interaksi sumber bahan stek dan konsentrasi Rootone F terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman jambu citra.Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan atau sekitar 85 hari mulai dari Juli sampai Oktober 2018, di Desa Melung Kecamatan Baturraden Kabupaten Banyumas dengan ketinggian tempat 1.307 m dpl. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap dengan 2 faktor yaitu bahan stek (cabang produktif dan cabang wiwilan) dan konsentrasi Rootone F (0 ppm; 150 ppm; 300 ppm; 450 ppm; 600 ppm). Variabel yang diamati meliputi suhu, kelembaban, intensitas cahaya matahari, persentase stek hidup, waktu tumbuh tunas, jumlah tunas, panjang tunas, jumlah daun, jumlah akar, panjang akar, bobot basah akar, dan bobot kering akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber bahan stek dari cabang produktif memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik pada variabel pengamatanjumlah daundibandingkan cabang wiwilan dengan rerata berturut-turut 2,67; 2,12 dan peningkatan sebesar 25,94%. Konsentrasi Rootone F paling optimum untuk pertumbuhan stek jambu citra adalah 450 ppm yang menghasilkan rerata jumlah akar, bobot basah akar, bobot basah kering dan presentase stek hidup tertinggi yaitu berturut-turut 1,75; 0,16 g; 0,06 g; dan 26,67%. |

Inggris) | This study aims to: 1) determine the growth of citra apple cuttings (Syzygium samarangense) which derive from different material sources; 2) observe the best Rootone F concentration improving the growth of Java apple var. Citra cuttings; 3) determine the effect of the interaction of cuttings source material and Rootone F concentration on the growth of Java apple var. Citracuttings. The research was conducted for 3 months or about 85 days from July to October 2018 on Melung Village, Baturraden Distric, Banyumas Regency at altitude of 1.307 m dpl. The research used two factors wich were the material sources (productive branches and orthotroph branches) Rootone F concentration (0 ppm; 150 ppm; 300 ppm; 450 ppm; 600 ppm) that designed with Randomized Completely Block Design.The variables observed were temperature, sunlight intensity, percentage of live cuttings, shoot growth time, number of shoots, shoot length, number of leaves, number of roots, root length, root wet weight, and root dry weight. The result of the study showed that the source of cuttings from productive branches gives a better influence on the number of leaves than orthotroph branches, their average number of leaves were 2.67; 2,12 and 25.94% percentage of increase. The best Rootone F concentration for the growth of Syzygium samarangense cuttings was 450 ppm wich resulted in the highest average number of number of roots, root wet weight, root dry weight and the percentage of life, ie 1.75; 0.16 g; 0.06 g; and 26.67%. |
