Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)This study is about income and risk of gouramy faming in Beji Village, Kedungbanteng Sub-District. This study entitled: Analysis of Income and Risk of Gouramy Farming in Beji Village, Kedungbanteng Sub-District, Banyumas Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the income earned by gouramy farmers in one year, and to analyze the risks of gouramy farming in Beji village. This study used a quantitative research method with descriptive approach. The object of this study was the expense, revenue, and income of gouramy farming in Beji Village, Kedungbanteng Sub-district, Banyumas Regency. Based on the income analysis, the result indicated that: (a) the average income earned by gouramy spawning farmers was Rp 42,042,500 in one year and the average income earned by gouramy nursery farmers was Rp 212,544,835.29 in one year, (b) coefficient of variation (CV) values on both gouramy farming methods of cultivation were greater than 0.5, namely 0.83 in the gouramy spawning business and 0.69 in the gouramy nursery business, while the lower limit of profit (L) values on both gouramy farming methods were less than 0, namely Rp -1,504,863.13 in gouramy spawning business and Rp -6,451,452.83 in gouramy nursery business. CV mand L values on both farming methods described that gouramy farming was a high-risk business and likely to suffer losses.
