| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Ikan maskoki merupakan ikan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi karena memiliki warna yang menarik. Warna ikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kandungan karotenoid dalam pakan. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan berbahan dasar pelet dan cacing sutra ditambah tepung wortel, papaya dan eceng gondok sebagai sumber karotenoid terhadap intensitas warna ikan maskoki dan untuk mengetahui bahan baku terbaik. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai Oktober 2018 di Purbalingga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan (pakan komersial dicampur cacing sutra (P1), perlakuan lainnya dengan penambahan masing-masing tepung wortel (P2), tepung pepaya (P3) dan tepung eceng gondok (P4). Parameter yang diamati adalah nilai chroma, pertumbuhan, survival rate dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan penambahan tepung wortel, papaya dan eceng gondok tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (p>0,05) terhadap intensitas warna ikan (Chroma), pertumbuhan panjang dan survival rate tapi, berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat ikan maskoki. Penambahan campuran pakan dengan tepung wortel (P2) memberikan peningkatan nilai intensitas warna yang lebih baik terhadap ikan maskoki. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Goldfish is a fish that has high economic value because it has attractive colors. Fish color is strongly influenced by carotenoid content in feed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pellet-based feeds and silk worms plus carrot flour, papaya and water hyacinth as a source of carotenoids to the intensity of goldfish color and to find out the best raw materials. The study was conducted from September to October 2018 in Purbalingga. This study uses a completely randomized design method (CRD) with 4 treatments (commercial feed mixed with silk worms (P1), other treatments with the addition of each carrot flour (P2), papaya flour (P3) and water hyacinth flour (P4)). The parameters observed were chroma, growth, survival rate, and water quality. The result of the research indicate that treatment with the addition of carrot flour, papaya and water hyacinth did not have a significant effect (p> 0.05) on the color intensity of fish (Chroma), growth length and survival rate but was influential the weight of goldfish. The addition of feed mixture with carrot flour (P2) gives an increase in the value of better color intensity for goldfish |
