Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keefektifan dan pengaruh metabolit sekunder dua isolat Trichoderma harzianum yaitu isolat jahe dan bawang merah secara tunggal maupun gabunganya, dalam menekan penyakit antraknosa pada mangga lepas panen. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Penyakit Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, mulai Desember 2017 sampai Maret 2018. Penelitian menggunakan uji in vitro dan uji in vivo dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap masing-masing enam ulangan dan empat perlakuan, terdiri atas kontrol, metabolit sekunder T. harzianum isolat bawang merah, jahe serta gabungan isolat jahe dan bawang merah. Variabel pengamatan meliputi masa inkubasi, luas serangan, intensitas penyakit, warna, rasa, tekstur, aroma, tingkat kekerasan, dan kadar gula. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metabolit sekunder T. harzianum isolat jahe, bawang merah, dan gabungannya tmampu menekan pertumbuhan patogen in vitro masing-masing sebesar 21,48;20,68, dan 20,77% , menekan luas serangan in vivo masing-masing sebesar 85,56; 85,67 dan 89,56%, serta menekan intensitas penyakit masing-masing sebesar 36,11; 34,72 dan 26,38%. Perlakuan metabolit sekunder T. harzianum berpengaruh terhadap aroma dan rasa, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesegaran. Metabolit sekunder T. harzianum isolat bawang merah lebih baik dibandingkan isolat jahe dan isolat gabungan.

This research aimed to study the effectiveness and influence of the secondary metabolites derived from two Trichoderma harzianum isolates, i.e., ginger and shallot isolates either alone or in combination, in suppressing antracnose in harvested mango. The research was conducted at the Plant Protection Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, from December 2017 to March 2018. Completely Randomized Design was used in in vitro test and Randomized Block Design was used in in vivo one with each six replicates and four treatments consisted of control, secondary metabolites of T. harzianum onion isolate, ginger isolate, and their combination. Variables observed included incubation period, attack area, disease intensity, color, taste, texture, aroma, level of hardness, and sugar content. Result of the research showed that secondary metabolites of T. harzianum ginger isolate, shallot isolate, and their combination could suppress growth of the pathogen in vitro by 21,48; 20,68; and 20,77%, respectively, attack area by 85,56; 85,67; and 89,56, respectively, and the disease intensity by 36,11; 34,72; and 26,38%, respectively. The secondary metabolites of T. harzianum affected the mango fruit taste and smell, but it did not affect the freshness. Nevertheless, T. harzianum secondary metabolites of shallot isolates was better than ginger and combined isolates.
