| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan komposisi nutrisi dan media tanam terhadap dinamika sifat kimia larutan, pertumbuhan dan kualitas hasil kailan secara hidroponik rakit apung. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Screen House dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan September 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan perlakuan yang terdiri atas 2 faktor, yaitu media tanam: rockwool; rockwool + zeolite; serta komposisi nutrisi dengan 5 aras (level) nitrogen: AB mix (kontrol); 40% N; 32,5% N; 17,5% N dan 12,5% N. Variabel yang diamati yaitu: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot tajuk segar, bobot akar segar, kandungan Vitamin C, pH larutan dan daya hantar listrik (DHL) larutan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji F (ANOVA) pada taraf 5% dan 1%, apabila berpengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan DMRT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) komposisi nutrisi AB mix memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, luas duan, jumlah daun dan bobot akar segar; (2) komposisi media tanam rockwool + zeolit memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap luas duan, jumlah daun, kandungan vitamin C, bobot tajuk segar dan bobot akar segar; (3) kombinasi perlakuan rockwool + zeolit dengan AB mix memberikan hasil terbaik pada bobot tajuk segar, yaitu sebesar 34,74 g. |

Inggris) | This research aimed to find out the effect of nutrition and planting media on the dynamics of chemical properties, growth and quality of kalian in floating hydroponic system. Research had been carried out at Screen House and the Laboratory of Agronomy and Horticulture Faculty of Jenderal Sudirman University, Purwokerto. This study lasted from August to September 2018. This study used a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with treatment that contain of 2 factors that are planting media: rockwool; rockwool + zeolite; and 2 the composition of nutrition with 5 levels of Nitrogen dosage: AB mix (control); 40% N; 32,5% N; 17,5% N and 12,5% N. The variables observed were: plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, shoot fresh weight, root fresh weight, vitamin C content, pH and Electrical Conductivity (EC) of the solution. Data were analyzed by F test (ANOVA) in 5% and 1% level, if significantly different the test continued with DMRT 5%.. The results of the research showed that: (1) AB mix compotitions nutrition gave the best result to plants high, leaf area, number of leaves, shoot fresh weight and root fresh weight; (2) rockwool + zeolite planting media gave the best result to leaf area, number of leaves, vitamin C content, shoot fresh weight and root fresh weight; (3) the combinations between rockwool + zeolite with AB mix gave the best result to shoot fresh weight, that is 34,74 g. |
