Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui suhu yang paling efektif terhadap kualitas buah tomat, mengetahui jenis pengemas yang paling efektif terhadap kualitas buah tomat, dan mengetahui pengaruh suhu dan jenis pengemasan terhadap kualitas buah tomat. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai April sampai Juni 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) faktorial, dengan tiga kali ulangan yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah suhu 27, 18, dan 9 derajat Celcius. Faktor kedua adalah jenis pengemas: Tanpa Pengemas, Kertas Kraft, Plastik Polyetilen, dan Plastik Polipropilen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu paling efektif terhadap kualitas buah tomat adalah suhu 9 derajat Celcius, jenis pengemas terbaik adalah kertas kraft untuk kadar vitamin C buah tomat dan tidak berbeda dengan pengemas polietilen, dan tidak ada interaksi antara suhu dan jenis pengemas terhadap kualitas buah tomat.

Inggris) | This study aims to determine the most effective temperature on the quality of the tomatoes, knowing the most effective type of packaging against the tomato fruit quality and determine the effect of temperature and type of packaging on the quality of tomatoes. The study was conducted from April to Juny 2018. This study used a Completely randomized block design, with three replications consisting of two factors. The first factor was temperature 27, 18, and 9 degree celsius. The second factor was the type of packaging: Unpackaged, Kraft Paper, Polyetilen Plastic, and Polypropylene Plastic. The results showed that the most effective temperature for the quality of tomatoes was 9 degree celsius, the best type of packaging was a kraft paper for vitamin C levels of tomatoes and not different from polyethylene packaging, and there was no interaction between temperature and type of packaging for the quality of tomatoes.
