| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Tingkat Pengangguran, Jumlah Penduduk, dan Pendidikan Terhadap Kemiskinan di Sumatera Selatan Tahun 2009 – 2017. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi, tingkat pengangguran, jumlah penduduk, dan pendidikan terhadap kemiskinan di Sumatera Selatan pada tahun 2009 – 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan data sekunder dari 15 kabupaten/kota di Sumatera Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan metode linear berganda data panel dengan random effect model menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan negatif, dan pengangguran berpengaruh signifikan positif. Sedangkan jumlah penduduk dan pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak berpengaruh signfikan terhadap kemiskinan di Sumatera Selatan tahun 2009 – 2017. Variabel paling berpengaruh terhadap kemiskinan adalah variabel pendidikan. Implikasi dalam mengatasi kemiskinan di Sumatera Selatan yaitu perlu adanya peningkatan lapangan kerja, meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, dan memberikan dukungan penuh terhadap pendidikan dengan memberikan keringanan biaya pendidikan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study is entitled The Effect of Economic Growth, Unemployment Rate, Population, and Education on Poverty in South Sumatra Year 2009-2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of economic growth, unemployment rate, population, and education on poverty in South Sumatera in 2009 - 2017. This research is a quantitative study with secondary data from 15 districts / cities in South Sumatera. Based on the results of the study with multiple linear methods panel data with the random effect model shows that education have a significant negative effect, and unemployment rate has a significant positive effect. While the economic growth and population does not have a significant effect on poverty in South Sumatera in 2009-2017. The most influential variable on poverty is the education variable. The implication to overcome poverty in South Sumatera, there should be an increase in employment, improve the quality of human resources to increase productivity, and provide full support for education by reducing the cost of education. |
