| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Persediaan bahan baku adalah faktor produksi yang penting dalam proses produksi. Kesalahan penetapan strategi dalam persediaan bahan baku akan mempengaruhi keuntungan. Perusahaan perlu menentukan jumlah pembelian persediaan bahan baku optimal / Economic Order Quantity, menentukan persediaan pengaman (safety stock), titik pemesanan kembali (reorder point), untuk kelancaran proses produksi. Penelitian berlokasi pada PT Buana Spring Foam Purwokerto sebab perusahaan belum menentukan jumlah optimal pembelian bahan baku melebihi kebutuhan bahan baku yang digunakan untuk proses produksi dan mengakibatkan biaya persediaan bahan baku yang tinggi. Hasil perhitungan yang didapat menunjukkan jika perusahaan tetap menggunakan kebijakan yang ada, maka total biaya persediaan pada tahun 2018 pada bahan baku Per Bulat T 18 8.2 sebesar Rp 12.207.190, Per Pinggir T 18 3.5 Z sebesar Rp 12.207.190, dan Steples CL-74 sebesar Rp 12.207.190, dengan 12 Kali Fekuensi pembelian bahan baku, sedangkan total biaya persediaan pada tahun 2018 dengan metode Economic Order Quantity pada bahan baku Per Bulat T 18 8.2 sebesar Rp 4.052.458, Per Pinggir T 18 3.5 Z sebesar Rp 4.233.512, dan Steples CL-74 sebesar Rp 6.418.407, dengan 12 frekuensi pembelian bahan baku. Terdapat selisih antara kedua perhitungan yaitu pada bahan baku Per Bulat T 18 8.2 sebesar Rp 8.154.732, Per Pinggir T 18 3.5 Z sebesar Rp 7.973.678, dan Steples CL-74 sebesar Rp 5.788.783 yang menunjukkan bahwa jika perusahaan menerapkan metode EOQ, maka pada tahun 2018 perusahaan akan menghemat pengeluaran biaya persediaan bahan baku. Safety stock pada tahun 2018 pada bahan baku Per Bulat T 18 8.2 sebesar 1.685.563 pcs, Per Pinggir T 18 3.5 Z sebesar 196.583 pcs, dan Steples CL-74 sebesar 2.887.500 pcs dengan titik pemesanan kembali/reorder point (ROP) pada bahan baku Per Pinggir T 18 8.2 sebesar 70.232 pcs, Per Pinggir 18 3.5 sebesar 8.191, dan Steples CL-74 sebesar 120.313 pcs. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Raw materials inventory is important production factors in the production process. Procurement of raw materials suppliers will give rise to cost. Companies need to determine the amount of the purchases of raw material suppliers optimal/ Economic Order Quantity, determine (safety stock), (reorder point), for a smooth production process. The research is located at PT Buana Spring Foam Purwokerto because the company did not specify the maximum amount of purchases of raw materials and raw materials delivery times are uncertain so the amount of supply of raw materials exceeding the needs od raw materials used for the production process and resulting in raw material inventory costs are high. The results of the calculation obtained indicates if companies continue to use the existing policy, the total cost of inventory in 2018 for raw materials Per Round T 18 8.2 is Rp 12.207.190, Per Edge T 3.5 Z is Rp 12.207.190, and Steples CL-74 is Rp 12.207.190, with 12 times frequency of purchases of raw materials, while the total cost of inventory by Economic Order Quantity method for raw materials Per Round T18 8.2 is Rp 4.052.458, Per Edge T 18 3.5 Z is Rp 4.233.512, and Steples CL-74 is Rp 6.418.407 with 12 times frequency of purchase raw materials. There is a difference between two calculations in the raw material Round T 18 8.2 is Rp 8.154.732, Per Edge T 18 3.5 Z is Rp 7.973.678, and Steples CL-74 is Rp 5.788.783, which indicates if company implemented EOQ method, then by 2018 company will save the cost of raw material inventory.
