Judul ArtikelPENGARUH PERLAKUAN PELLETING DAN ENSILASE PADA RANSUM KOMPLIT TERNAK KELINCI TERHADAP KADAR LEMAK KASAR DAN ABU
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji persentase lemak kasar dan kadar abu pada pengolahan bahan pakan yang sama dan proses yang berbeda (pelleting dan ensilase). Materi yang digunakan yaitu jagung (0,940 kg), onggok (0,308 kg), bekatul (0,232 kg), bungkil kelapa (0,813 kg), limbah kubis (12,232 kg), garam dapur (0,015 kg), dan mineral mix (0,015 kg) untuk setiap sampel, serta dilakukan dua macam pengolahan ransum komplit yang berbeda. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Green House dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi Makanan Ternak. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 3 perlakuan yaitu R1 (Ransum Komplit Segar), R2 (Pelet Ransum Komplit) dan R3 (Silase Ransum Komplit) dan diulang sebanyak 6 kali. Peubah yang diamati adalah lemak kasar dan kadar abu. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan hasil pengukuran diperoleh kandungan lemak kasar R1; 9,162 ± 2,226%, R2; 8,261 ± 0,274% dan R3; 12,016 ± 0,120%, sedangkan untuk kadar abu hasilnya yaitu R1; 8,702 ± 0,182%, R2; 8,906 ± 0,148% dan R3; 7,202 ± 0,182%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukan bahwa perlakuan pelleting dan ensilase berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel yang diukur, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) menunjukan bahwa pengaruh perlakuan pelleting terhadap kadar lemak dan abu memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P<0,05) sedangkan perlakuan ensilase menunjukan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap penurunan kadar lemak (P>0,05) namun menunjukan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap penurunan kadar abu (P<0,05). Kesimpulan yang didapat dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa proses pelleting menurunkan lemak kasar sebesar 0,90% dan meningkatkan kadar abu sebesar 0,20% sedangkan pada proses ensilase meningkatkan lemak kasar sebesar 3,75% dan menurunkan kadar abu sebesar 1,70%.

Inggris)This study aims to examine the percentage of crude fat and ash content in the processing of feed with the same ingredients and different processes, that is pelleting and ensilase. The materials used were corn (0.940 kg), onggok (0.308 kg), rice bran (0.232 kg), coconut cake (0.813 kg), cabbage waste (12.232 kg), salt (0.015 kg) and mineral mix (0.015 kg) for each sample, and carried out two different complete feed processing. The research was held at the Green House and the Laboratory of Nutrition an Animal Feed, Faculty of Animal Sciences. The research used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments, there were R1 (Fresh Complete Feed), R2 (Pellet Complete Feed) and R3 (Silage Complete Feed) and repeated 6 times. The variables observed were of crude fat and ash content. The data obtained then analyzed with analysis of variance and the measurement results obtained by the crude fat content of R1= 9.16 ± 0.27%, R2= 8.26 ± 0.27% and R3= 12.02 ± 0.12%, while percentage of ash content the result is R1= 8.70 ± 0.18%, R2= 8.91 ± 0.15% and R3= 7.20 ± 0.18%. Based on the results of analysis variance shows that the treatment pelleting and ensilase was significant for results on the measured variables. Then the significant data continued by a test of honestly significant difference (HSD). The results honestly significant difference (HSD) showed that the effect of pelleting treatment on crude fat and ash content had a significant effect (P<0.05) while ensilage treatment showed non significant effect on the decrease crude fat (P>0.05) but showed signifcant effect for decreasing ash content (P<0.05). The conclusions obtained in this research indicate that the pelleting process reduces crude fat 0.90% and increases ash content 0.20% while in ensilage process increases crude fat 3.75% and reduces ash content 1.70%.
