Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar logam berat kadmium dalam media air dan kerusakan struktur mikroanatomi insang ikan bandeng antar stasiun, serta hubungan keduanya. Stratified random sampling diterapkan pada lokasi penelitian yang dibagi 4 stasiun pengamatan berdasarkan jarak sumber cemaran. Sampel diambil 4 kali ulangan. Data kadar logam berat kadmium dan skoring kerusakan insang diuji Anova, dan diuji Korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar Cd antar stasiun berkisar 0,0133-0,0527 mg/L (berbeda nyata). Kadar Cd tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun I sebesar 0,0527 mg/L. Kadar Cd berbeda pada tiap stasiun pengamatan karena adanya jarak stasiun dengan sumber cemaran, TSS dan COD. Kerusakan insang ikan bandeng berupa edema, hiperplasia, fusi lamella dan nekrosis. Hasil skoring kerusakan edema 0-3; kerusakan hiperplasia 0-3; kerusakan fusi 0-3; kerusakan nekrosis 0-2. Kadar Cd dengan kerusakan edema berkorelasi positif dengan keeratan sedang. Kerusakan hiperplasia berkorelasi positif dengan keeratan sangat kuat. Kerusakan fusi lamella berkorelasi positif dengan keeratan kuat, dan kerusakan nekrosis berkorelasi positif dengan keeratan sedang. Parameter lingkungan seperti suhu, salinitas, DO dan ammonia dalam kondisi optimum sedangkan TSS, COD dan BOD melebihi baku mutu perairan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study dealt with levels of Cd heavy metals in water, among stations, and damages of the microanatomy structure gills in milkfish. Stratified random sampling methods were applied on four sampling site stations, based on their distances from polution sources. Samplings were run in quadruplicates. Data on Cd levels and gill damage scoring were tested in ANOVA. Their correlations were also analysed. The results showed that Cd levels varied between 0.0133-0.0527 mg/L. The highest one was found in station I (0.0527 mg/L). Gill damages were form of oedeme, hyperplasia, lamella fusion and necrose. Oedeme scores were 0-3; hyperplasia 0-3; lamella fusion 0-3; and necrosis 0-2. The positive correlation was found between Cd levels and oedeme damages with moderate relation. Hyperplasia damage positively correlated with very high relation. Lamella fusion damages positively correlated with high relation. However, necrose damages positively correlated with moderate relation. Environmental parameters i.e. temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and ammonia remained in optimum conditions, while TSS, COD and BOD excessed quality standards. |
