| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui varietas terbaik didataran rendah, mengetahui jenis tambahan nutrisi yang baik untuk pertumbuhan tanaman kailan hidroponik, dan mengetahui ada tidaknya interaksi antara varietas kailan dengan pemberian tambahan nutrisi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di screen house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto pada bulan Maret 2018 sampai Mei 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL), yang terdiri dari 8 kombinasi perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Faktor pertama adalah varietas kailan yaitu varietas Veggin (V1) dan varietas Fullwhite (V2). Faktor kedua adalah jenis nutrisi yaitu AB mix 80 ml sebagai kontrol (N0), AB mix 80 ml dan air cucian beras 80 ml (N1), AB mix 80 ml dan ekstrak Azolla microphylla 80 ml (N2), AB mix 80 ml, air cucian beras 40 ml dan ekstrak Azolla microphylla 40 ml (N3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, bobot tajuk segar, dan bobot tajuk kering memberikan hasil yang sangat nyata terhadap perlakuan varietas kailan. Varietas kailan terbaik adalah varietas Veg-gin. Perlakuan tambahan nutrisi menunjukkan hasil yang sangat nyata pada variabel bobot tajuk segar dan kering dan hasil yang nyata pada variabel tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun dan, luas daun. Penggunaan AB-mix 80 ml + ekstrak Azolla microphylla 80 ml (N2) mampu meningkatkan tinggi tanaman sebesar 12%, jumlah daun 18,8%, luas daun 48,1%, diameter batang 18,8%, jumlah daun 21,8%, bobot tajuk segar 22,6%, dan bobot kering 24,3%. Tidak ada interaksi antara varietas kailan terhadap tambahan nutrisi hidroponik. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this study was to find out the proper variety in the lowlands, to know the good types of additional nutrients, and to study the best combination of variety and types of additional nutrients for the yield and growth of kailan plants. This research was conducted in screen house of Agriculture Faculty, the University of Jenderal Soedirman from March 2018 until May 2018. The desaign used was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 2 factors, 8 treatment combinations and repeated three times. The first factor was varieties e.i Veggin variety (V1) and Fullwhite variety (V2). The second factor was types of additional nutrients e.i AB mix 80 ml (N0), AB mix 80 ml + rice water 80 ml (N1), AB mix 80 ml + extract of Azolla microphylla 80 ml (N2), and AB mix 80 ml + rice water 40 ml + extract of Azolla microphylla 80 ml (N3). The results showed variables of plant height, stem diameter, fresh canopy weight, and dry canopy weight showed very real result to varieties kailan. The Veg-gin variety (V1) was the proper variety then Fullwhite variety (V2). Variables of fresh and dry canopy weigh showed very real result and variables of plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, and leaf area showed real result to types of additional nutrient. The used of AB-mix 80 ml + extract of Azolla microphylla 80 ml (N2) was able to increase plant height by 12%, stem diameter 18.8%, number of leaves 21.8% , leaf area 48.1%, fresh canopy weight was 22.6%, and dry weight was 24.3% compared with AB mix. There is no interaction between varieties and types of additional hydroponic nutrition. |
