Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bobot tubuh, konformasi paha (perbandingan antara lebar paha dengan panjang paha), lingkar dada domba Batur betina muda di Kecamatan Batur Kabupaten Banjarnegara dan mengetahui hubungan antar variabel bobot tubuh, konformasi paha dan lingkar dada. Materi yang digunakan untuk penelitian 71 ekor domba Batur betina muda berumur 6 sampai 12 bulan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu survei dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Penetapan jumlah ternak domba Batur betina muda milik peternak dilakukan secara sensus. Variabel yang diukur yaitu bobot tubuh, lingkar dada, lebar paha dan panjang paha domba Batur betina muda di Desa Batur, Desa Sumberejo dan Desa Kepakisan. Hasil penelitian, diperoleh rataan bobot tubuh, konformasi paha, lebar paha, panjang paha dan lingkar dada masing-masing sebesar 28,06 ± 7,17 kg; 0,40 ± 0,06; 9,16 ± 1,79 cm; 22,56 ± 2,67 cm; dan 75,72 ± 6,48 cm. Kesimpulan, konformasi paha dan lingkar dada secara bersama-sama memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan bobot tubuh (R = 0,76) dengan persamaan linier Y= -36,74 + 4,04 X1 + 0,83 X2 (R2 = 58%). Hubungan yang sangat erat ditunjukkan oleh bobot tubuh dengan lingkar dada (R = 0,76) dengan persamaan linier Y = -35,99 + 0,85 X2 (R2 = 58,3%). |

Inggris) | An research was aimed at determine body weight, thigh conformation (comparison between thigh width with thigh length), young female Batur sheep's chest circumference in Batur Subdistrict, Banjarnegara Regency and find out the relationship between variables of body weight, thigh conformation and chest circumference. The material used for the study was 71 young female Batur sheep aged 6 to 12 months. The method used is a survey with purposive sampling. Determination of the number of young female Batur sheep owned by farmers is carried out by census. The variables measured were body weight, chest circumference, thigh width and thigh length of young female Batur sheep in Batur Village, Sumberejo Village and Kepakisan Village. The results of the study, obtained mean body weight, thigh conformation, thigh width, thigh length and chest circumference respectively 28.06 ± 7.17 kg; 0.40 ± 0.06; 9.16 ± 1.79 cm; 22.56 ± 2.67 cm; and 75.72 ± 6.48 cm. Conclusion, thigh conformation and chest circumference together have a significant with body weight (R = 0.76) with linear equation Y = -36.74 + 4.04 X1 + 0.83 X2 (R2 = 58%) . A very significant was shown by body weight with chest circumference (R = 0.76) with linear equation Y = -35.99 + 0.85 X2 (R2 = 58.3%). |
