| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah plastik Kelurahan Gredeng, Kecamatan Purwokerto Utara, Kabupaten Banyumas dengan ketinggian tempat 110 meter di atas permukaan laut (mdpl) pada bulan Februari sampai Juli 2018 menggunakan polybag. Percobaan faktorial dengan dua faktor yaitu konsentrasi kolkisin dan varietas dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL). Faktor konsentrasi kolkisin dengan taraf 0%, 0,025%, 0,05% dan 0,1% serta varietas yang terdiri dari Red Star, Polaris dan Purple Star. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis varian pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil analisis varian yang menunjukan pengaruh nyata diuji lanjut menggunakan uji LSD (Least Significant Different) dan uji LSI (Least Significant Intereast) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Variabel yang diamati yaitu prosentase perkecambahan, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, diameter pangkal batang, lebar tajuk, diameter bunga, muncul bunga pertama, kerapatan stomata, bobot akar kering, bobot tanaman kering, jumlah buah, bobot buah pertanaman, diameter buah, ketebalan daging buah, dan volume buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) perendaman kolkisin meningkatkan jumlah dan ukuran daun, bobot kering tanaman, dan bobot akar kering dibandingkan kontrol (2) perendaman kolkisin meningkatkan diameter buah paprika dibandingkan kontrol, tetapi belum mampu meningkatkan bobot buah dan jumlah buah pertanaman (3) genotipe V1-K3 memberikan respon terbaik dengan peningkatan jumlah daun dan diameter buah dibandingkan kontrol. |

Inggris) | This study aimed to (1) knowing the effect of colchicine concentration on the agronomic character of pepper (2) knowing the effect of colchicine concentration on the yield character (3) knowing the genotype that has the best response to colchicine treatment. This research was conducted in plastic house of Grendeng Village, North Purwokerto Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency with height of 110 meters above sea level started from February until July 2018 used polybag. Factorial experiments with two factors, namely the concentration of colchicine and varieties with a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL). Colchicine concentration factors with a level of 0%, 0.025%, 0.05% and 0.1% and varieties consisting of Red Star, Polaris and Purple Star. The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance at the error level of 5%. The results of the analysis of variance that showed real effect were further tested using the LSD (Least Significant Different) test and the LSI (Least Significant Intereast) test at the 95% confidence level. Variabel observed were the percentage of germination, plant height, leaf number, leaf area, diameter base of stem, canopy width, flower diameter, first flower arise, stomata density, dry root weight, dry plant weight, number of fruit, fruit crop weight, fruit diameter, fruit thickness, and fruit volume. The results showed that (1) colchicine immersion increased the number and size of leaves, plant dry weight, and dry root weight compared to controls (2) colchicine immersion increased the diameter of paprika compared to controls, but had not been able to increase fruit weight and number of fruit crops (3) V1-K3 genotype gave the best response with an increase in the number of leaves and diameter of the fruit compared to the control. |
