| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi bobot tubuh dengan indeks kebapuhan dan lingkar dada Kambing betina muda Khas Kejobong. Materi yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah Kambing betina muda Khas Kejobong sebanyak 32 ekor (umur 7-12 bulan). Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan cara survey dengan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Uji T. Parameter yang diukur berupa Bobot Tubuh, Indeks Kebapuhan dan Lingkar Dada. Hasil penelitian rataan bobot tubuh Kambing betina muda Khas Kejobong berkisar antara 22,13 ± 4,29 kg, indeks kebapuhan sebesar 45,72 ± 10,72, dan lingkar dada 62,5 ± 5,37 cm. Hubungan antara Indeks Kebapuhan dan Lingkar Dada secara simultan berkontribusi sangat nyata (P<0.01) terhadap pendugaan bobot tubuh dengan nilai R = 0.83 dan R2=69%. Lingkar dada memberi kontribusi yang nyata terhadap pendugaan bobot tubuh mengikuti persamaan garis linear BT= -21.39+ 0.68 LD dengan (R2) 70 %.

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The aims of the research to analysis correlation between the plumpmness index and chest sircumference with body weight of young female kejobong goats. The material used were 32 heads of young female Kejobong goats (aged 7-12 month). Determination of sample was conductes by survey with the purposive sampling method. Data obtained were analyzed used T-test. The parameter observed were body weight, plumpness index and chest circumference. The result of mean body weight young female Kejobong goats range between 22,13 ± 4,29 kg, the plumpmness index by 45,72 ± 10,72, and chest sircumfrence 62,50 ± 5,37 cm. The relationship between the Chest Circumfrence and The Plumpness Index of simultaneously highly significant contribution (P<0.01) towards extbilisment of body weight with a value of R = 0.83 and R2=69%. The Chest Sircumfrence give a highsignificant contribution to extabilisment of body weight following the equation line linear Y = -21,39 + 0,68 LD with the value determination (R2) 70%. |
