| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Beberapa tahun belakangan ini jumlah pengrajin kayu di Indonesia sudah marak di berbagai wilayah sehingga jumlah limbah kayu semakin banyak yang tidak diimbangi oleh jumlah pemanfaatan limbah kayu tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik fisika dan mekanika papan panel semen komposit limbah serat kayu dengan tulangan bambu. Proses pembuatan benda uji pada penelitian ini adalah menambahkan limbah serat kayu dan tulangan bambu pada papan panel semen kompisit dengan variabel terikat berupa variasi tebal (6 cm, 8 cm dan 10 cm) serta variasi jarak tulangan bambu (75 mm, 110 mm dan 145 mm) dan diberikan bahan tambah katalisator (CaCl₂) yang kemudian dilakukan pengujian untuk mengetahui karakteristik fisika dan mekanika. Pengujian fisika yang terdiri dari pengujian kadar air didapat nilai hasil rata-rata sebesar 5,825%, kerapatan didapat nilai hasil rata-rata sebesar 1,201g/cm³, penyerapan air didapat nilai hasil rata-rata sebesar 17,027% untuk perendaman selama 2 jam serta 19,205% untuk perendaman selama 24 jam dan pengembangan tebal didapat nilai hasil rata-rata sebesar 3,882% untuk perendaman selama 2 jam sebesar 4,914% untuk perendaman selama 24 jam. Pada pengujian mekanika didapat nilai hasil rata-rata Modulus of Rupture (MOR) yaitu benda uji 6cm;75mm sebesar 2,773 MPa, benda uji 6cm;110mm sebesar 1,840 MPa, bena uji 6cm;145mm sebesar 0,904 MPa, benda uji 8cm;75mm sebesar 1,978 MPa, benda uji 8cm;110mm sebesar 2,405 MPa, benda uji 8cm;145mm sebesar 0,776 MPa, benda uji 10cm;75mm sebesar 1,022 MPa, benda uji 10cm;110mm sebesar 0,984 MPa dan benda uji 10cm;145mm sebesar 0,759 MPa. nilai hasil rata-rata Modulus of Elasticity (MOE) yaitu benda uji 6cm;75mm sebesar 351,896 MPa, benda uji 6cm;110mm sebesar 108,004 MPa, bena uji 6cm;145mm sebesar 76,518 MPa, benda uji 8cm;75mm sebesar 217,727 MPa, benda uji 8cm;110mm sebesar 169,281 MPa, benda uji 8cm;145mm sebesar 95,238 MPa, benda uji 10cm;75mm sebesar 104,124 MPa, benda uji 10cm;110mm sebesar 58,873 MPa dan benda uji 10cm;145mm sebesar 52,890 MPa. |

Inggris) | In recent years the amount of wood craftsmen in Indonesia is already popular in various areas so that the amount of wood waste increase which is unbalanced by the amount of wood waste utilization. The purpose of this research to acquaint characteristics of physics and mechanics for the composite cement panel board of wood skaring with bamboo reinforcement. The process of making this research speciment is using wood skaring and bamboo reinforcement on the cement panels board with dependent variable based on the variation of thickness (6 cm, 8 cm and 10 cm) also the variation of the dimension of bamboo reinforcement (75 mm, 110 mm and 145 mm) and given the catalyst (CaCl₂) which then do testing to find out the characteristics of physics and mechanics behavior. Physics testing consist of water content testing obtained an average yield of 5,825%, obtained density testing average yield of 1,201g/cm³, water absorption obtained an average yield of 17.027% for soaking time 2 hours and 19.205% for soaking time 24 hours, thickness expansion obtained an average yield of 3.882% for soaking time 2 hours and 4.914% for soaking time 24 hours.
