| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini mengambil judul “Peran Humas Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Mutu Informasi Layanan Kesehatan di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto”. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran dan hambatan yang dialami oleh humas dalam meningkatkan mutu informasi layanan kesehatan di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto yang merupakan rumah sakit kelas B milik pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini dikategorikan dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara dan observasi. Dalam menganalisis data yang telah diambil, digunakan model analisis interaktif Milles dan Huberman yaitu dengan menguji validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber yaitu membandingkan hasil wawancara dengan data yang berkaitan. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah peran humas di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto telah mencakup beberapa aspek penting dalam organisasi yaitu pemecah masalah, penasihat ahli, fasilitator komunikasi dan teknisi komunikasi. Selain itu, humas RSMS terus mengedukasi masyarakat terkait informasi-informasi layanan kesehatan di rumah sakit ini. Humas RSMS menggunakan strategi promosi word of mouth (WOM) dan juga media seperti media cetak, elektronik dan digital dalam mengedukasi masyarakat. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This thesis entitled “The Role of Public Relation to Improve Quality of Health Information Services at RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto”. The aim of this thesis is to find out how the role of public relation in Margono and the barriers to improving the quality of health service information at RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto which is a class B hospital owned by the Central Jawa Provinci Government. This research was categorized in qualitative descriptive research with purposive sampling as the informant selection method. Data collection techniques by interviews and observations at the hospital. To analyze the data that has been taken, an interactive analysis model of Milles and Huberman is used by examining the validity of data using the triangulation source technique which compare the result of the interviews with related data. The results of this research is the role of public relation at RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto has covered several important aspects in the organization which are problem solver, expert advisor, communication facilitator and communication technician. In addition, RSMS public relation continues to educate the public related to health information in this hospital. He uses word of mouth (WOM) method as promotion strategy and also use a media such as printed media, electronic and digital media to educate the public. |
