| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Minyak atsiri bunga lavender memiliki aktivitas antibakteri karena mengandung linalil asetat dan linalool yang bermanfaat sebagai antibakteri dan membersihkan jerawat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memformulasikan minyak atsiri bunga lavender menjadi sediaan krim dengan basis cera alba dan vaselin album yang memenuhi persyaratan sifat dan stabilitas fisik serta memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap P. acnes. Sediaan krim dibuat dengan 4 konsentrasi berbeda, selanjutnya diuji sifat fisik dan stabilitas meliputi organoleptis, homogenitas, viskositas, pH, daya lekat, daya sebar dan uji Freeze-thaw. Uji organoleptis, pH, homogenitas dan Freeze-thaw dianalisis secara deskriptif. Uji viskositas, daya lekat dan daya sebar dianalisis menggunakan Oneway ANOVA. Formula terpilih diuji aktivitas antibakteri dengan metode difusi sumuran. Sehingga diperoleh persentase zona hambat.Formula terpilih krim minyak atsiri bunga lavender dengan konsentrasi cera alba 14% yang memiliki viskositas sebesar 17700-19879 cp, daya lekat 8,2-12,7 detik, daya sebar 5,1-6,2 cm, stabil pada uji freeze-thaw, serta diameter zona hambat terhadap P. acnes sebesar 21,33. Formula sediaan krim yang memenuhi persyaratan sifat fisik dan stabilitas fisik yang paling baik adalah formula dengan konsentrasi cera alba 14% dan vaselin album 12% memiliki diameter zona hambat terhadap P. acnes sebesar 21,33mm. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Essential oils of lavender flowers have antibacterial activity because they contain linalil acetate and linalool which are useful as antibacterials and cleanse acne. The purpose of this study was to formulate the essential oil of lavender flower into cream preparations with cera alba and vaselin album base that fulfilled the requirements of physical properties and stability and had antibacterial activity against P. acnes. Cream preparations were made with 4 different concentrations, then physical properties and stability were tested including organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, pH, stickiness, dispersion and Freeze-thaw test. Organoleptic test, pH, homogeneity and Freeze-thaw were analyzed descriptively. Viscosity test, adhesion and scattering power were analyzed using Oneway ANOVA. The selected formula was tested for antibacterial activity with well diffusion method. So that the percentage of inhibition zone is obtained. Cream preparation formula that fulfills the best physical and physical stability requirements is a formula with cera alba concentration of 14% and vaselin album has a inhibitory zone diameter of P. acnes in the strong category of 21.33 mm.
