| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Pemberian ASI eksklusif dapat menurunkan angka kematian bayi dan balita. Cakupan ASI eksklusif Puskesmas Purwokerto Selatan meningkat sebesar 48,2% pada tahun 2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu menyusui. Metodologi: Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi pada lima ibu menyusui yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh dengan wawancara mendalam dan dilakukan triangulasi sumber data pada suami dan kader posyandu. Hasil Penelitian: Keberhasilan ASI eksklusif didukung oleh faktor pemudah (pengetahuan dan sikap ibu, lingkungan sosial, budaya, IMD, pengalaman menyusui, motivasi ibu), faktor pemungkin (kondisi kesehatan ibu), dan faktor pendorong (dukungan suami, peran kader posyandu, peran kelompok potensial, sikap petugas kesehatan, promosi kesehatan ASI eksklusif). Kesimpulan: Determinan yang mendukung keberhasilan ASI eksklusif adalah pengetahuan ibu baik, sikap ibu positif, tidak mengikuti budaya, motivasi kuat ibu, ibu sehat, dukungan suami baik, kader posyandu berperan positif, dan promosi kesehatan ASI eksklusif baik. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Exclusive breastfeeding can reduce infant and toddler mortality. Exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Purwokerto Selatan Public Health Center increased by 48.2% in 2017. This study aims to explore exclusive breastfeeding success on breastfeeding mothers. Methodology: This qualitative descriptive research using phenomenology approach on five breastfeeding mothers) selected by purposive sampling. Qualitative data were obtained by in depth interviews and was triangulated based on data sources including husbands and posyandu cadres. Results: Exclusive breastfeeding success are supported by easier factors (knowledge and attitudes, social environment, culture, early breastfeeding initiation, breastfeeding experience, motivation), enabling factors (maternal health conditions), reinforcing factors (husband support, posyandu cadre role, potential group role, health officer attitudes, exclusive breastfeeding health promotion). Conclusions: Determinants supporting the success of exclusive breastfeeding are good mother's knowledge, mother's positive attitude, not following culture, strong mother’s motivation, healthy mother, good husband support, posyandu cadres being positive, and good exclusive breastfeeding health promotion.
