Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang : Anemia merupakan masalah gizi yang banyak terjadi di dunia. Remaja putri merupakan kelompok yang rawan menderita anemia. Beberapa faktor penyebab terjadinya anemia, salah satunya adalah asupan makan.

Tujuan Penelitian : Mengetahui hubungan tingkat asupan zat besi, protein dan penyakit infeksi dengan kadar Hb remaja putri di pondok pesantren.

Metodologi : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan 40 remaja putri sebagai sampel berdasarkan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan formulir food recall 24 jam serta dilakukan pengambilan sampel darah untuk mengetahui kadar Hb responden. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Fisher Exact.

Hasil : Sebanyak 97,5% responden memiliki tingkat asupan zat besi kurang, 87,5% responden memiliki tingkat asupan protein kurang dan 17,5% responden yang pernah terkena penyakit infeksi dalam sebulan terakhir. Tidak ada hubungan tingkat asupan zat besi, protein dan penyakit infeksi dengan kadar Hb remaja putri (p > 0,05).

Kesimpulan : Tidak ada hubungan tingkat asupan zat besi, protein dan penyakit infeksi dengan kadar Hb remaja putri.

Background :Anemia is a nutritional problem that occurs in the world. Young women are a group that is prone to anemia. There are several factors that cause anemia in young women, one of which is food intake.

Objective :To determine the correlation of iron intake level, protein and infectious diseases with Hb levels of adolescent girls at boarding school.

Methods :This research use cross sectional design with 40 female teenager as sample based on simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is questionnaire and 24-hour food recall form and blood sampling is done to determine the level of respondents Hb. Bivariate analysis using Fisher Exact test.

Results:The research found that there were 97.5% of respondents have less iron intake level, 87.5% of respondents have less protein intake and 20% of respondents who have been exposed to infectious diseases in the past month. There was no correlation between iron intake, protein and infectious disease with adolescent girls hemoglobin (p> 0.05).

Conclusion :There was no correlation between iron intake level, protein and infectious diseases with Hb levels of adolescent girls.
