Judul ArtikelPENGARUH PEMBERIAN DOSIS NITROGEN DAN KOMBINASI PUPUK HAYATI DAN TRICHOKOMPOS TERHADAP PENYAKIT HAWAR DAUN BAKTERI DAN PRODUKSI PADI VARIETAS CIHERANG
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penyakit hawar daun bakteri merupakan salah satu kendala dalam upaya peningkatan produksi padi. Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh patogen Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian dosis nitrogen terhadap penyakit hawar daun bakteri dan produksi padi varietas Ciherang. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh trichokompos dan aplikasi pupuk hayati terhadap penyakit hawar daun bakteri dan produksi padi varietas Ciherang. (3) Mengetahui kombinasi perlakuan mana yang memberi hasil panen tertinggi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan sawah Fakultas Pertanian dan Laboratorium Agrohortikultura Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, pada Februari sampai Agustus 2016, dengan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap (RAKL) 2 faktorial. Faktor pertama yaitu taraf pemupukan N (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 kg/ha) dan faktor kedua yaitu aplikasi pupuk diperkaya agen hayati (kontrol, 4 ton/ha trichokompos; 0,8 l/ha pupuk hayati cair penambat N2; kombinasi keduanya). Variabel yang diamati yaitu intensitas penyakit, laju infeksi, tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, luas daun, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering akar, hari berbunga, jumlah anakan produktif, bobot 1000 butir gabah, bobot gabah kering giling, bobot gabah per rumpun, jumlah gabah per rumpun, jumlah gabah isi per rumpun, persentae gabah hampa per rumpun, panjang malai dan jumlah malai per rumpun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemupukan N taraf 200 kg/ha meningkatkan intensitas penyakit. Aplikasi trichokompos dengan pupuk hayati cair tidak efektif mengendalikan perkembangan penyakit hawar daum bakteri di lapang. Pemberian nitrogen secara meningkat dan aplikasi trichokompos dengan pupuk hayati cair penambat N2 cenderung mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan produksi padi varietas Ciherang. Kombinasi perlakuan yang memberikan hasil panen tertinggi yaitu pemupukan N pada taraf 150 kg/ha dan tanpa penambahan pupuk hayati cair dan trichokompos.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Bacterial Leaf Blight disease is the major obstacle to increase rice production. This disease is caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae. The purposes of this research were to: (1) Know the effect of nitrogen dose to bacterial leaf blight disease and Ciherang rice production. (2) Know the effect of trichocompost and nitrogen-fixing liquid biofertilizer application to bacterial leaf blight disease and Ciherang rice production. 3) Know the best combination treatment which gave the highest yield. The research had been conducted in experimental field and Agro-Horticultural Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto from February to August 2016 using Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) two factorial. This research consisted 2 factors. The first factor was the fertilization rate of N (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 kg/ha) and the second factor was biofertilizer treatment (control, trichocompost, nitrogen-fixing liquid biofertilizer and combination of both). Variables measured were disease intensity, infection rate, plant height, number of tillers, leaf area, dry plant weight, dry root weight, flowering age, weight of 1000 grains, dry weight of grains, weight of grains per hill, amount grains per hill, number of grains content per hill, percentage of empty grain per hill, penicle length and number of penicles per hill. The results showed that the treatment of N fertilizer 200 kg/ha increasing disease intensity. Application of trichocompost with nitrogen-fixing liquid biofertilizer was not effective to control the progression of bacterial blight disease in the field. Addition nitrogen fertilizer increasingly and application of trichocompost with nitrogen-fixing liquid biofertilizer affected the growth and production of Ciherang rice. The best combination treatment which gave the highest yield was N fertilizier at level 150 kg/ha and without addition of liquid biofertilizer and trichocompos.
