| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan ampas teh dengan berbagai bentuk yang difermentasi EM4 terhadap konsumsi bahan kering dan bahan organik pada puyuh jantan. Materi yang digunakan yaitu 100 ekor puyuh jantan umur 4 minggu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen pola in vivo dan menggunakan model matematik Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari R0 = pakan basal sebagai pakan kontrol; R1 = pakan basal + ampas teh bentuk serbuk fermentasi sebanyak 2%; R2 = pakan basal + ampas teh bentuk butrian fermentasi sebanyak 2%; R3 = pakan basal + ampas teh bentuk daun fermentasi sebanyak 2%. Peubah yang diamati adalah konsumsi bahan kering dan bahan organik. Rataan konsumsi bahan kering perlakuan R0 sebesar 14,60 gram/ekor/hari; R1 sebesar 14,24 gram/ekor/hari; R2 sebesar 14,60 gram/ekor/hari; dan R3 sebesar 14,26 gram/ekor/hari (P> 0.05). Rataan konsumsi bahan organik perlakuan perlakuan R0 (pakan basal) sebesar 12,55 gram/ekor/hari; R1 (pakan basal + 2% ampas teh fermentasi bentuk serbuk) sebesar 12,23 gram/ekor/hari; R2 (pakan basal + 2% ampas teh fermentasi bentuk butiran) sebesar 12,54 gram/ekor/hari; dan R3 (pakan basal + 2% ampas teh fermentasi bentuk daun) sebesar 12,25 gram/ekor/hari (P> 0.05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah suplementasi ampas teh berbagai bentuk yang difermentasi EM4 pada pakan puyuh jantan belum meningkatkan konsumsi bahan kering dan bahan organik. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | ABSTRACT This study aims was to evaluate the effect of using various forms of tea waste fermented by EM4 on the on dry matter and oraganic matter intake in male quails. The material used were 100 male quails aged 4 weeks. The experiment was conducted by using in vivo experiment method and using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatment and 5 repetitions. The treatment were consisted of R0 = quail feed as control feed; R1 = quail feed + fermented tea waste powders as much as 2%; R2 = quail feed + fermented tea waste granules as much as 2%; R3 = quail feed + fermented tea waste leafs as much as 2%. Variables were observed dry matter intake and organic matter intake. The average values of dry matter intake from R0 was 14,60 gram/head/day; R1 was 14,24 gram/head/day; R2 was 14,60 gram/head/day; and R3 was 14,26 gram/head/day (P>0,05). The average values of organic matter intake from R0 was 12,55 gram/head/day; R1 was 12,23 gram/head/day; R2 was 12,54 gram/head/day; and R3 was 12,25 gram/head/day (P>0,05). The conclusion of this research was the supplementation of the various forms of tea waste fermented by EM4 on the male quail feed had not increased dry matter intake and organic matter intake yet. |
