Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bakteri endofit dari akar tanaman cabai merah, mengetahui pengaruhnya dalam menekan pertumbuhan F. oxysporum secara in vitro, menekan penyakit layu fusarium, serta pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabai merah. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium dan Rumah Kaca Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Desember 2017 sampai Mei 2018. Sampel tanaman untuk isolasi bakteri endofit diambil di lahan tanaman cabai merah Desa Gandatapa Kecamatan Sumbang dengan metode Purposive Random Sampling. Pengujian in vitro dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap, dan Pengujian in planta dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol (tanpa bakteri endofit) dan 4 isolat bakteri endofit. Variabel yang diamati meliputi karakterisasi bakteri endofit, uji antagonisme in vitro, masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, laju infeksi, AUDPC, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, volume akar, bobot segar akar, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering akar, dan bobot kering tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 3 bakteri endofit merupakan kelompok Pseudomonas sp., sedangkan 1 bakteri endofit merupakan kelompok Corynebacterium sp. Bakteri endofit isolat 2 lahan 1 Desa Gandatapa mampu menghambat pertumbuhan jamur F. oxysporum secara in vitro sebesar 43,35%. Bakteri endofit isolat 2 lahan 1 Desa Gandatapa mampu menunda masa inkubasi selama 6 hari, menurunkan intensitas penyakit dengan efektivitas 99,34%, menurunkan laju infeksi, dan AUDPC. Bakteri endofit isolat 2 lahan 1 Desa Gandatapa mampu meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, volume akar, bobot segar akar, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering akar, dan bobot kering tanaman berturut-turut sebesar 34,52%, 43,28%, 71,65%, 69,08%, 69,61%, 66,22%, dan 67,18%. |

Inggris) | The aims of this study was to find endophytes bacteria from the roots of red chili plants, know its influence in suppressing F. oxysporum growth in vitro, suppressing fusarium wilt disease, also its influence on the growth of red chili plants. The research was conducted in Laboratory and Greenhouse of Plant Protection Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jenderal Soedirman. The study was conducted from December 2017 to May 2018. Plant samples for endophytes bacterial isolation were taken in red chili plantation of Gandatapa Village Sumbang Sub-district with Purposive Random Sampling method. In vitro research with Complete Randomized Design method, and in planta research with Complete Group Randomized Design with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment consists of control (without endophytes bacteria) and 4 endophytes bacteria isolate. The variables were endophytes bacteria characterization, in vitro antagonism test, incubation period, disease intensity, rate infection, AUDPC, plant height, leaf number, root length, root volume, fresh weight of the root, fresh weight of the plant, dry weight of the root, and dry weight of the plant. The results showed that 3 endophytes bacteria from Pseudomonas sp., and 1 endophytes bacteria from Corynebacterium sp. Endophytes bacteria isolate 2 fields 1 Gandatapa able to inhibit the growth of F. oxysporum in vitro 43,35%. Endophytes bacteria isolate 2 fields 1 Gandatapa can delay incubation period for 6 days, reduce the disease intensity with effectivity by 99,34%, able to reduce the rate of infection, and AUDPC. Endophytes bacteria isolate 2 fields 1 of Gandatapa can increase plant height, number of leaves, root volume, fresh weight of the root, fresh weight of the plant, dry weight of the root, and dry weight of the plant by 34,52%, 43,28%, 71,65%, 69,08%, 69,61%, 66,22%, and 67,18%. |
