| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konformasi paha dan lingkar dada dengan bobot tubuh kambing betina muda khas kejobong. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan selama kurang lebih satu bulan di peternakan rakyat Kecamatan Kejobong Kabupaten Purbalingga. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kambing betina muda Khas Kejobong berumur 7-12 bulan sebanyak 32 ekor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah survei, penetapan sampel wilayah secara stratified random sampling dan pengambilan sampel ternak secara sensus. Hasil analisis variansi menujukkan hubungan antara konformasi paha dan lingkar dada dengan bobot tubuh sangat nyata (P≤0,01) dengan nilai R = 0,84 dan R2 = 0,70. Hasil uji t parsial menunjukkan sumbangan lingkar dada terhadap bobot tubuh dengan determinasi (r2) 0,70, megikuti persamaan Y = -19,54+0,67X. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research aimed to the study was determine the relationship of thigh conformation and chest girth with body weight of young female Kejobong goat. The research has been conducted for approximately one month at the farm rural of Sub-district Kejobong, District Purbalingga. The used material in this research was young female Kejobong goats aged from 7-12 months many as 32 materials. The research method used is survey research with determination of sampling used stratified random sampling and sampling with census. The results of variance analysis showed the relationship between thigh conformation and chest girth with body weight had a very significant effect (P≤0.01) with a value of R = 0.84 and R2 = 0.70. The results of the t partial test showed the contribution of chest girth to body weight by determination (r2) 0.70, following the equation Y = -19.54 + 0.67X. |
