Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan PGPR isolat lokal tanah sawah yang efektif mengendalikan penyakit hawar daun bakteri dan mendapatkan PGPR isolat lokal tanah sawah yang mampu meningkatkan hasil padi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman, Laboratorium Agronomi, screen house Fakultas Pertanian dan Laboratorium Fakultas Biologi Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dari bulan September 2017 sampai Maret 2018. Rancangan perlakuan yang yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 11 perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba yaitu kontrol tanpa inokulasi Xoo, kontrol dengan inokulasi Xoo, isolat J04 + inokulasi Xoo, isolat P07 + inokulasi Xoo, isolat P10 + inokulasi Xoo, isolat R01 + inokulasi Xoo, isolat R04 + inokulasi Xoo, isolat R08 + inokulasi Xoo, isolat R10 + inokulasi Xoo, isolat R12 + inokulasi Xoo dan isolat S03 + inokulasi Xoo. Variabel yang diamati meliputi karakterisasi bakteri PGPR, kejadian penyakit, intensitas penyakit, laju infeksi, nilai area under disease progress curve (AUDPC), jumlah anakan produktif, panjang malai, jumlah gabah isi per malai, jumlah gabah hampa per malai, bobot gabah isi per rumpun, bobot gabah hampa per rumpun, persentase gabah isi per rumpun, persentase gabah hampa per rumpun dan bobot 1000 butir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Isolat R08 efektif menekan perkembangan penyakit HDB, yaitu mampu menekan kejadian penyakit sebesar 10,06%, menurunkan intensitas penyakit hingga 8,98%, memperlambat laju infeksi 11,11% dan memiliki nilai AUDPC sebesar 6,14% hari dibandingkan dengan kontrol yang diinokulasi Xoo 2) Aplikasi PGPR belum mampu meningkatkan hasil tanaman padi.

Inggris)The research aimed to obtain local isolate PGPR from rice fields that effective to control bacterial leaf blight disease and to obtain local isolate PGPR of rice fields that effective to improved the yield of rice. The research was conducted in the Plant Protection Laboratory, Agronomy Laboratory, screen house of Agriculture Faculty and Laboratory of Biology Faculty, Jenderal Soedirman University, from September 2017 to March 2018. The research design was used randomized block design (RBD) with 11 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were control without Xoo inoculation, control with Xoo inoculation, isolate J04 + Xoo inoculation, isolate P07 + Xoo inoculation, isolate P10 + Xoo inoculation, isolate R01 + Xoo inoculation, isolate R04 + Xoo inoculation, isolate R08 + Xoo inoculation, isolate R10 + Xoo inoculation, isolate R12 + Xoo inoculation and isolate S03 + Xoo inoculation. Variables observed were characterization of PGPR bacteria, disease incidence, disease intensity, infection rate, area under disease progress curve (AUDPC), number of productive tillers, panicles length, number of grains per panicle, number of empty grains per panicle, weight of grains per plant, weight of empty grains per plant, percentage of grains per plant, percentage of empty grains per plant and 1000 grains weight. The results showed that 1) Isolate R08 was effective in suppressing the development of bacterial leaf blight disease, indicated by decreased disease incidence by 10,06%, decreased disease intensity by 8,98%, slowing infection rate by 11,11% and AUDPC value by 6,14% compared to control with Xoo inoculation 2) PGPR applications was not able to improve rice yields.
