| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Laguna Segara Anakan adalah daerah perairan luas yang merupakan muara dari Sungai Citanduy, Sungai Cikonde, Sungai Cibereum dan Sungai Cikoneng. Permasalahan utama laguna adalah banyaknya endapan sedimen akibat erosi di hulu dan terbawa aliran sungai hingga mengendap di laguna. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan karakteristik jenis sedimen dan ketebalan sedimen di 6 titik Laguna Segara Anakan. Metode yang digunakan untuk analisis hasil penelitian adalah secara spasial dan temporal. Analisis secara spasial yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan karakteristik jenis sedimen berdasarkan diameter butiran sedimen pada 6 stasiun pengambilan sampel. Analisis secara temporal yaitu untuk mengetahui ketebalan sedimen pada perangkap sedimen selama pengambilan sedimen pada periode waktu 9 bulan (April – Desember 2017). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian jenis sedimen pada stasiun S1, S5, S6 adalah pasir sangat halus, hal karena posisi titik tersebut lebih dekat dengan laut sedangkan pada stasiun S2, S3, S4 adalah lumpur kasar hal ini karena posisi titik tersebut lebih dekat dengan hilir sungai. Ketebalan sedimen pada musim kemarau berkisar 2-5 cm sedangkan pada musim penghujan mengalami yaitu berkisar 6-9 cm. Pasang surut air laut sangat berpengaruh terhadap jenis sedimen di area laguna. Ketika musim penghujan debit sungai semakin besar dan membawa sedimen yang cukup banyak sehingga pada musim penghujan ketebelan sedimen naik. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Segara Anakan Lagoon is a waters area which is the estuary of the Citanduy River, Cikonde River, Cibereum River and Cikoneng River. The main problem of the lagoon is the amount of sediment deposition caused by erosion in the upstream and carried by the river to settle in the lagoon. This research was conducted to know the difference of sediment characteristic and sediment thickness at 6 points of Segara Anakan Lagoon. The methods used for the analysis of research results are spatially and temporally. Spatial analysis is to know the difference of characteristic of sediment type based on diameter of sediment grain at 6 station of sampling. Temporal analysis is to know the thickness of sediments in sediment traps during sediment collection over a period of 9 months (April - December 2017). Based on the result of sediment type research on station S1, S5, S6 is very fine sand, because the position of the point closer to the sea while at the point S2, S3, S4 is the coarse silt because the position of the point closer to downstream of river. Sediment thickness in the dry season ranges from 2 to 5 cm while in the rainy season is about 6 to 9 cm. Sea tide is very influential on the type of sediment in the lagoon area. When the rainy season the river flow is getting bigger and carrying a lot of sediment so that in the heavy rainy season the sediment rises. |
