| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey kepada petani garam yang berada di Desa Rawaurip, Kecamatan Pangenan, Kabupaten Cirebon, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini mengambil judul: “Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor-Faktor Produksi Garam (Studi Kasus Di Desa Rawaurip, Kecamatan Pangenan, Cirebon, Jawa Barat). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan faktor produksi, menganalisis tingkat efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi, dan menganalisis tingkat efisiensi ekonomis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelompok petani garam di Desa Rawaurip. Jumlah responden yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah 47 responden. Simple random sampling method digunakan dalam penentuan responden. Model fungsi produksi yang digunakan dalam penelitian untuk menjelaskan kondisi usaha produksi garam yang dilakukan oleh petani adalah model fungsi produksi Cobb-Dogulas. Hasil uji regresi secara parsial, terdapat pengaruh tidak signifikan dari variabel luas lahan dan tenaga kerja dimana thitung < ttabel , luas lahan (0,998 < 2,016) dan tenaga kerja (-0,791 < 2,016). Berbeda dengan variabel modal yang berpengaruh signifkan thitung > ttabel (13,203 > 2,016). Kemudian, analisis efisiensi alokatif menunjukan bahwa luas lahan dan tenaga kerja tidak efisien, artinya penggunaan luas lahan dan tenaga kerja perlu dikurangi. Sedangkan variabel modal belum efisien, artinya perlu ada penambahan input modal. Hasil dari perhitungan R/C rasio pada produksi garam 1,773 yang berarti usaha produksi garam sudah menguntungkan. Implikasi dari kesimpulan yaitu dalam upaya peningkatan produksi perlu adanya peningkatan produktivitas tenaga kerja dan penambahan input modal agar usaha produksi garam menjadi efisien. Lalu pemerintah juga berperan aktif untuk memberikan bantuan modal dengan menggandeng lembaga jasa keuangan maupun pelatihan terhadap para petani oleh dinas terkait agar permasalahan yang ada di lapangan dapat teratasi. Terlepas dari itu semua petani di Desa Rawaurip dalam hasil produksi garam sudah menguntungkan dan layak dijalankan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research is a survey research to salt farmer located in Rawaurip Village, Pangenan Subdistrict, Cirebon Regency, West Java. This research takes the title: “Efficiency Analysis of Salt Production Factors (Case Study in Rawaurip Village, Pangenan Subdistrict, Cirebon Regency, West Java). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of production factors, analyze the efficiency of the use of production factors, and analyze the level of economic efficiency. The population in this research is a salt farmer group in Rawaurip Village. The number respondents taken in this study were 47 respondents. The simple random sampling method is used in the determination of respondents. The production function model used in the research to explain the condition of salt production business conducted by farmers is the Cobb-Douglass production model. The result of the partial regression test shows that, there is not a significant influence of variable of land and labor where tcount < ttable, land (0,998 < 2,016) labor (-0,791 < 2,016). In contrast to capital variables that significantly influence tcount > ttable (13,203 > 2,016). Then, the analysis of allocative efficiency shows that land and labor are inefficient, meaning that the use of land and labor needs to reduce. While the variable capital is not efficient, meaning that there needs to be additional capital input. The result of calculation of the R/C ratio on salt production is 1,773 which means salt production business is profitable. The implication of the conclusion is that in an effort to increase production there needs to be an increase in labor productivity and the addition of capital input to make salt production business efficient. Then the government also plays an active role to provide capital assistance by cooperating with financial institutions and training of farmers by the relevant agencies so that problems in the field can be resolved. Apart from that all of that farmer in a Rawaurip Village in the production of salt is profitable and feasible to run. |
