| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang bersifat kolaborasi yaitu peneliti sebagai observer, dan guru yang diteliti sebagai pelaku tindakan. Penelitian ini mengambil judul “Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas VII D Di SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) kaitannya dengan prestasi belajar dan nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto dan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) kaitannya dengan ketuntasan belajar mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. Subjek penelitian tindakan ini adalah kelas VII D SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 34 siswa terdiri dari 14 siswa laki – laki, dan 19 siswi perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Heads Together (NHT dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Hal ini didukung oleh data penelitian yang menunjukan terdapat peningkatan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran IPS dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 dan siklus 3. Ketuntasan belajar siklus 1 mencapai 55,88% lalu ketuntasan belajar menunjukan peningkatan pada siklus 2 yaitu sebesar 70,59% dan ketuntasan belajar menujukan peningkatan pada siklus 3 yaitu 79,41%. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut maka dapat dijelaskan bahwa siklus 3 telah berhasil mencapai indikator keberhasilan penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan akan berhasil apabila ketuntasan belajar telah mencapai atau lebih dari indikator ketuntasan 75% dari total siswa kelas VII D. Implikasi dari kesimpulan di atas adalah siswa mengalami kendala dalam pelaksanaan metode pembelajaran yaitu siswa cenderung bosan karena metode pembelajaran dilakukan 3 kali berturut-turut, maka dari itu untuk meminimalisir kebosanan harus diselingi oleh permainan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP N 8 Purwokerto, diharapkan untuk penelitian selanjutnya agar menambah variasi dalam metode pembelajaran sehingga dapat mendukung dan semakin menambah cakupan penelitian |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research is a type of collaborative classroom action research which the researcher as an observer, and the teacher is researched as an actor. This research entitled "Application of Cooperative Learning Method Type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Towards Student Achievement on Social Science Subject of Student Class VII D in State Junior High School 8 Purwokerto”. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of cooperative learning method type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) towards learning achievement and average grade on social science subject of student class VII D State Junior High School 8 Purwokerto, and also to analyze the implementation of cooperative learning method type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) towards the learning social science subject of student class VII D State Junior High School 8 Purwokerto. Subject of this action research is class VII D State Junior High School 8 Purwokerto in academic year 2017/2018 with the total 34 students consist of 14 male students and 29 female students. Based on the result of this research the implementation of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can improve learning achievement on social science subject of class VII D State Junior High School 8 Purwokerto in academic year 2017/2018. This is supported by research data which shows there is improvement of learning achievement on social science subjects from cycle 1 to cycle 2 and cycle 3. The completeness of learning is 55,88% in cycle 1 and increase in cycle 2 up to 70,59% then increase up to 79,42% in cycle 3. Based on the description, it can be explained that cycle 3 has succeeded in achieving the success indicator of research that is the action research will succeed if the completeness of learning has reached or more than 75% complete indicator of the total student in class VII D. The implication is the students faced the problems due execution of learning method, they were bored since it held 3 times in a row. Therefore, in order to minimize the boredom, it should be combined with games in the process. This research was undertaken in 8 State Junior High School. For the next research, it is expected to add variation into the learning methods, so, it can support and expand the range of the research |
