| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Hubungan frame size terhadap bobot jantung dan paru-paru sapi peranakan ongole. Penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Potong Hewan Bantarwuni, Kecamatan Kembaran, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan frame size dengan jantung dan paru-paru sapi peranakan Ongole. Variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah bobot jantung dan bobot paru-paru. Menggunakan metode survey dengan penetapan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frame size berhubungan nyata (P<0,01) terhadap bobot potong, bobot jantung dan bobot paru-paru. Besarnya hubungan frame size terhadap bobot potong yaitu R dan R2 sebesar 0,983 dan 96,6%, sedangkan besarnya hubungan frame size terhadap bobot jantung sebesar 0,916 dan 83,9% dan besarnya hubungan frame size terhadap bobot paru-paru sebesar 0,927 dan 85,9%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) Terdapat hubungan antara frame size dengan bobot jantung dan paru-paru sapi Pernakan Ongole (PO) (2) Semakin tinggi nilai frame size, maka akan semakin tinggi nilai bobot jantung dan paru-paru sapi peranakan Ongole (PO) dan (3) Pendugaan bobot jantung dan paru-paru dapat menggunakan frame size. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The relation of frame size to heart and lung weight of Ongole crossbreed. The research was conducted at Bantarwuni Animal Slaughterhouse, Kembaran Sub-District, Banyumas Regency. This study aims to examine the relation of frame size with heart and lung of Ongole crossbreed. The variables measured in this study were weight of heart and weight of lung. This research method using survey method with the determination of sample was done by simple random sampling, then analyzed by using descriptive test and simple linear regression. The results showed that the frame size was significantly heartrelated (P <0.01) to the weight of the heart and the weight of the lungs. The size of the frame size relationship to the slaughter weights of R and R2 is 0.983 and 96.6%, while the size of the frame size relations to the heart weight of 0.916 and 83.9% and the size of the frame size relations to the lung weight of 0.927 and 85.9 %. The conclusion of this research that there was a relationship between frame size with the weight of heart and lungs of Ongole crossbreed, the higher of frame size value, the higher the weight value of heart and lung of Ongole crossbreed and Estimation of heart and lung weights can use the frame size. |
