| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji perbedaan jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin, dan nilai hematokrit Itik Tegal dan Itik Magelang yang dipelihara di wilayah Tegal dan Magelang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Tanggal 21 Agustus 2017 sampai dengan 4 Januari 2018 di Kelompok Tani Ternak Itik Berkah Abadi, Kota Tegal dan Kelompok Tani Ternak Itik Sido Rukun, Kabupaten Magelang dan di Laboratorium Patologi Klinik Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta. Sasaran penelitian adalah Itik Tegal dan Itik Magelang, peternak itik dan Dinas Peternakan di Kabupaten Tegal dan Dinas Peternakan di Kabupaten Magelang. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey menggunakan cara stratified random sampling. Jumlah sampel darah itik setiap daerah sebanyak 30 sampel. Variabel yang diamati yaitu jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin, dan nilai hematokrit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Itik Tegal dan Itik Magelang berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin, dan nilai hematokrit. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian bahwa, jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin, dan nilai hematokrit Itik Tegal dan Itik Magelang yang dipelihara di wilayah Tegal dan Magelang relatif sama. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purposes of this study were to examine the differences total of erythrocytes, hemoglobin levels, and hematocrit values of Tegal and Magelang ducks that are kept in the region of Tegal and Magelang. The study was conducted on 21 August 2017 up to January 4, 2018 at Livestock Farmers Group of Duck Berah Abadi, City of Tegal and Farmer Group of Duck Livestock Sido Rukun, District of Magelang and The Clinical Pathology Laboratory of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The research target was Tegal ducks and Magelang ducks, the duck breeders, City of Tegal Department of Livestock and District of Magelang Department of Livestock. The method used for survey that using stratified random sampling method. Total of duck blood samples per area were 30 samples. The observed variables were total of erythrocyte, hemoglobin level, and hematocrit value. The results of variance analysis showed that Tegal Ducks and Magelang Ducks were not significantly different (P>0,05) on total of erythrocytes, haemoglobin level, and hematocrit value. The conclusion from the result of research that, total of erythrocytes, hemoglobin level, and hematocrit value of ducks Tegal and ducks Magelang maintained on Tegal and Magelang farming were relatively the same. |
