| Judul Artikel | PENENTUAN KOMPOSISI PUPUK MAJEMUK NKS-ZEO GRANUL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SERAPAN N DAN PERTUMBUHAN BAWANG MERAH PADA TANAH ULTISOL THE DETERMINATION OF COMPOSITION NKS-ZEO GRANULE COMPOUND FERTILIZER TO IMPROVE N UPTAKE AND ONION GROWTH ON THE ULTISOL |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) mengetahui pengaruh mandiri dan interaksi antara komposisi pupuk majemuk NKS-Zeolit granul terhadap serapan N dan pertumbuhan bawang merah pada tanah Ultisol dan 2) menentukan komposisi pupuk majemuk NKS-Zeolit granul yang paling baik pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman bawang merah pada Ultisol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Screen House Fakultas Pertanian dan analisis pupuk, tanah, dan jaringan tanaman dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Waktu pelaksanaanya pada Agustus sampai Oktober 2017. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan dua faktor dan tiga kali ulangan, faktor pertama adalah varietas bawang merah yang terdiri atas dua aras (level) : varietas Bima dan Ampenan, faktor kedua adalah komposisi pupuk majemuk NKS-Zeolit granul yang terdiri atas lima aras : NKS 1 (7-0-0), NKS 2 (7-1,75-1,75), NKS 3 (7-3,50-3,50), NKS 4 (7-5,25-5,25), NKS 5 (7-7-7). Variabel yang diamati adalah sifat kimia tanah, pertumbuhan bawang merah dan serapan N oleh tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi NKS-Zeolit berpengaruh terhadap pH H2O, DHL, N total tanah, jumlah daun, bobot umbi segar, bobot umbi kering, bobot tanaman kering dan jumlah umbi. Terdapat interaksi antara komposisi pupuk NKS-Zeolit dengan varietas bawang merah terhadap serapan N oleh tanaman dan bobot tanaman segar, namun tidak memberikan pengaruh pada bobot daun segar dan bobot daun kering. Grade pupuk NKS 4 (7-5,25-5,25) memberikan pengaruh yang paling baik terhadap serapan N oleh tanaman dan bobot umbi segar. |

Inggris) | This research aims to: 1) to know the independent influence and interaction between compound fertilizer compound NKS-Zeolite granule to improve N uptake and onion growth on Ultisol and 2) to determine the composition of NKS-Zeolit granule compound fertilizer which the best influence on onion plant growth on Ultisol. The research was conducted at Screen House of Faculty of Agriculture and analysis of fertilizer, soil, and plant tissue was done at Soil Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. Its implementation time from August to October 2017. This study used a Complitely Randomize Design (CRD), with two factors and three replications, the first factor is the onion varieties consisting of two level: varieties of Bima and Ampenan. the second factor is composition of NKS-Zeolite granule fertilizer of five levels: NKS 1 (7-0-0), NKS 2 (7-1,75-1,75), NKS 3 (7-3,50-3,50) , NKS 4 (7-5,25-5,25), NKS 5 (7-7-7). The observed variables were soil chemical properties, onion growth and N tissue absorption. The results showed that the composition of NKS-Zeolite influenced the pH of H2O, DHL, N total, the number of leaves, fresh bulb weight, fresh plant weight, dry bulb weight, dry plant weight, and the number of tubers. There is an interaction between NKS-Zeolite fertilizer composition with onion varieties to N uptake by plants and fresh plant weight, but did not give effect on fresh leaf weight and weight of dry leaves. Grade of NKS 4 fertilizer (7-5,25-5,25) gives the best effect to N uptake by plant and fresh tuber weight |
