| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Ketahanan pangan telah menjadi isu sentral dalam kerangka pembangunan pertanian dan pembangunan nasional. Kebijakan terkait ketahanan pangan tidak cukup hanya berdasar pada hasil studi lingkup makro, tetapi juga perlu informasi dari studi lingkup mikro, antara lain adalah aspek marketed surplus pada tingkat rumah tangga petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui karakteristik sosial ekonomi petani dan bentuk penjualan hasil usahatani padi oleh petani di Kabupaten Magelang; 2) Mengetahui besarnya marketable dan marketed surplus beras pada tingkat petani di Kabupaten Magelang; 3) Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi besarnya marketed surplus beras pada tingkat petani di Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2017 sampai bulan Januari 2018 dengan sasaran petani padi sawah non organik pada lahan sawah irigasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan data primer dan sekunder yang diolah menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode multistage random sampling dan diperoleh 100 responden dengan jumlah luas lahan 42,34 hektar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani padi di Kabupaten Magelang sejalan dengan perkembangan sosial ekonomi masyarakat dan ketersediaan infrastruktur, telah memiliki tanda pergeseran corak usahatani, yaitu dari subsisten ke arah komersial dengan bentuk penjualan hasil berupa gabah kering panen yang dijual secara tebasan. Nilai marketable surplus beras sebesar 107.264,40 kg/MT atau 86,60 persen dari jumlah produk dan nilai marketed surplus beras sebesar 97.060,04 kg/MT atau 90,49 persen dari nilai marketable surplus. Marketed surplus beras di Kabupaten Magelang dipengaruhi oleh variabel jumlah produk, luas lahan, pengeluaran rumah tangga petani, biaya usahatani (natura), dan harga beras. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Food security has become a central issue in the framework of agricultural and national development. Food security policy based on the scope of macro study was not enough, it also needed the information from the scope of micro study, such as the marketed surplus aspect at farmer households level. The purposes of the research were: 1) To figure out the socio-economic characteristics of farmers and the form of rice yields sale by farmers in Magelang Regency; 2) To figure out the total of marketable and marketed surplus of rice on the farm level in Magelang Regency; 3) To analyze the factors that influence marketed surplus of rice on the farm level in Magelang regency. The research was conducted in December 2017 until January 2018, respondent was non-organic rice farmers on irrigated rice fields. The research method was survey using primary and secondary data that was processed by descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis. The samples were determined using multistage random sampling method and included 100 respondents with the total of 42.34 hectares land area. The results showed that rice farming in Magelang Regency was in line with the socio-economic development of the community and the availability of infrastructure, it already has a sign of shifting patterns of farming from subsistence to commercial with the form of sales of dried unhulled rice harvested yield. The value of marketable surplus of rice amounted to 107,264.40 kg/MT or 86.60 percent of total product and marketed surplus value of rice amounted to 97,060.04 kg/MT or 90.49 percent of the marketable surplus value. Marketed surplus of rice in Magelang Regency was influenced by variable of product quantity, land area, farmer household expenditure, farming cost (natura), and rice price. |
