| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk: 1) mengkaji pengaruh elevasi terhadap produksi tanaman salak di Kabupaten Banjarnegara, 2) mengevaluasi pengaruh pola tanam terhadap produksi tanaman salak di Kabupaten Banjarnegara dan 3) mengkaji hubungan elevasi dan pola tanam terhadap produksi tanaman salak di Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode survei agronomik dengan rancangan purposive random sampling. Sampel dipilih atas dasar ketinggian tempat, yang dibedakan menjadi 300 m dpl, 600 m dpl dan 900 m dpl. Setiap ketinggian tempat diambil 20 sampel tanaman pada pola tanam monokultur dan 20 tanaman pada pola tanam polikultur. Jumlah keseluruhan sampel yaitu 120 sampel. Variabel yang diamati berupa jumlah tandan buah per tanaman, bobot tandan, jumlah buah per tandan panen, bobot buah, volume buah, suhu udara, curah hujan, pH tanah dan nilai kalium tersedia tanah. Data dianalisis dengan analisis ragam tersarang. Jika berbeda nyata dilanjutkan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukan ketinggian optimal dalam produksi salak dengan variabel berat tandan panen terdapat pada elevasi 300 m dpl. Rata-rata bobot tandan pada elevasi 1 yaitu 1,94 kg, elevasi 2 adalah 1,39 kg dan elevasi 3 yaitu 1,72 kg. Pola tanam tidak mempengaruhi bobot tandan sebagai variabel produksi. Elevasi dan pola tanam pada tanaman salak di Banjarnegara tidak terjadi interaksi. Nilai Kesetaraan Lahan (NKL) menunjukan bahwa pola tanam polikultur lebih produktif. |

Inggris) | The research aims to: 1) evaluating the effects of the elevation against the production of salak in Banjarnegara District, 2) evaluating the effects of cropping system against the production of salak in Banjarnegara District and 3) evaluating the relation of elevation and cropping system against the production of salak in Banjarnegara District. This research was conducted using agronomic survey method with purposive random sampling design. Samples were selected on the basis an elevation, differentiated into 400 msl, 600 msl and 900 msl. Every an elevation taken 20 samples plant in monoculture cropping system and 20 samples plant in polyculture cropping system. The total sample is 120 samples. The variables observed were the number of fruit binches per plant, the bunches weight, the number of fruits per harvest bunches, the fruit weight, the fruit volume, the temperature of the air, the rainfall, the soil pH and the value of potassium available soil. The data were analyzed by nested analysis of varians design. If there a significant diffrence then followed by Least Significant Different Test (LSD). The results showed the optimal elevation in the production of salak with a variable bunches weight is 300 msl. The average weight of the bunches on elevation 1 is 1.94 kg, elevation 2 is 1,39 kg and elevation 3 is 2.23 kg. Whereas in cropping system did not affect of the bunches weight as production variable. Elevation and cropping sytem of salak plants in banjarnegara does not occur interaction. Land Equivalent Ratio (LER) showed that polikultur system more productive. |
