Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui asal bahan setek yang sesuai bagi pertumbuhan setek tanaman sigsag, (2) mengetahui konsentrasi air kelapa yang tepat bagi pertumbuhan setek tanaman sigsag, (3) mengetahui interaksi dan kombinasi terbaik antara asal bahan setek dan konsentrasi air kelapa terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sigsag. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 5 Oktober 2017 sampai 3 Januari 2018 di Kelurahan Purwokerto Wetan, Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) faktorial dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah asal bahan setek, yaitu pucuk, tengah, dan pangkal. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi pemberian air kelapa, yaitu 0%, 50%, dan 100%. Variabel yang diamati meliputi persentase setek tumbuh, saat tumbuh tunas, jumlah daun, luas daun, panjang akar terpanjang, jumlah akar, bobot akar segar dan bobot akar kering. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji F, apabila berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan DMRT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) bagian pangkal dan tengah tanaman mampu meningkatkan persentase setek tumbuh, luas daun, jumlah daun, panjang akar terpanjang, jumlah akar dan bobot akar segar dan (2) konsentrasi air kelapa 50% mampu mempercepat saat tumbuh tunas (3) tidak ada interaksi maupun kombinasi terbaik antara asal bahan setek dengan konsentrasi air kelapa.

Inggris)This research aimed to (1) know the origin of cuttings suitable for the growth of cuttings of sigsag crops, (2) know the proper coconut water concentration for the growth of cuttings of sigsag crops; (3) know the interaction and best of combination between the various cuttings and the concentration of coconut water on the growth of cuttings of sigsag crops. The research was conducted from 5 October 2017 to 3 January 2018 in Purwokerto Wetan Village, East Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. The research design was using a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) factorial with 3 replications. The first factor was the cutting material origin, the top, the center, and the base of the plant. The second factor was the concentration of coconut water, 0%, 50%, and 100 %. The observed variables included percentage of growing cuttings, time of growing shoots, number of leaves, leaf area, longest root length, root number, wet root weight and dry root weight. Data were analyzed by F test, tested further by DMRT 5% if significantly different. The results showed that (1) the base of the plant was able to increase the percentage of growing cuttings, leaf area, leaf number, longest root length, root number and fresh root weight and (2) 50% concentration was able to accelerate the growing buds (3) there was no interaction and best of combination between cuttings material origin with coconut water concentration.
