| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Kondensasi dan Reformulasi dalam Komik The Amazing Spiderman (The Dark Kingdom Part I & II): Studi Penerjemahan” berfokus pada bagaimana tipe-tipe kondensasi dan reformulasi mempengaruhi keakuratan penerjemahan pada komik The Amazing Spiderman. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dan bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui tipe-tipe kondensasi dan reformulasi dalam terjemahan komik The Amazing Spiderman; (2) untuk mengetahui keakuratan terjemahan yang mengandung kondensasi dan reformulasi dalam terjemahan komik The Amazing Spiderman. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada 113 data. Pertama-tama, untuk kondensasi dan reformulasi berdasarkan teori Cintas dan Remael (2007), peneliti menemukan 10 tipe. Diantaranya adalah Simplifying Verbal Periphrases (11 data atau 9.73%), Using a Shorter Near-Synonym or Equivalent Expression (58 data atau 51.33%), Using Simple Rather Than Compound Tenses (8 data atau 7.08%), Changing Word Classes (1 data atau 0.89%), Short Forms and Contractions (5 data atau 4.43%), Changing Negations or Questions into Affirmative Sentences or Assertions, Indirect Questions into Direct Questions, etc. (6 data atau 5.31%), Simplifying Indicators of Modality (10 data atau 8.85%), Changing The Subject of a Sentence or Phrase (3 data atau 2.65%), Turn Long and/or Compound Sentences into Simple Sentences (3 data atau 2.65%), dan Merge of Two or More Phrases/Sentences into One (8 data atau 7.08%). Sedangkan untuk aspek keakuratan berdasakan teori Nababan (2012), ada 77 atau 68.14% data akurat, 33 atau 29.20% data kurang akurat, dan 3 atau 2.66% data tidak akurat. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjemahan komik The Amazing Spiderman termasuk akurat. Selain itu, tipe Using a Shorter Near-Synonym or Equivalent Expression adalah tipe paling dominan dalam penelitian ini yang mempengaruhi aspek keakuratan dalam semua level seperti akurat, kurang akurat, dan tidak akurat. |

Inggris) | This research is entitled “Condensation and Reformulation in The Amazing Spiderman (The Dark Kingdom Part I & II) Comic: Translation Studies” focuses on how the types of condensation and reformulation influence the accuracy of the translation. This research belongs to qualitative research and aims: (1) to find out the types of condensation and reformulation in the translation of The Amazing Spiderman comic; (2) to find out the accuracy of the translation which used condensation and reformulation in the translation of The Amazing Spiderman comic. The result shows that there are 113 data. Firstly, for condensation and reformulation according to Cintas and Remael’s theory (2007), the researcher finds 10 types. While for accuracy aspect according to Nababan’s theory (2012), there are 77 data (68.14%) are accurate, 33 data (29.20%) are less accurate, and 3 data (2.66%) are not accurate. From the result, it can be concluded that the translation of The Amazing Spiderman is accurate. Additionally, Using a Shorter Near-Synonym or Equivalent Expression is the most dominant type that influences the accuracy aspect for each level such as accurate, less accurate, and not accurate. |
