Indonesia) | Respon inflamasi sistemik diketahui berperan dalam meningkatkan peluang metastasis dan progresi tumor, sedangkan peluang metastasis tersebut sangat berpengaruh pada progresi pasien kanker. Neutrofil/limfosit ratio (NLR) menjadi salah satu parameter yang dapat mencerminkan status inflamasi pada pasien. Progresi pasien kanker, khususnya kanker nasofaring (KNF) ditentukan terutama dari stadium klinis dengan metode TNM staging system. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara NLR pra terapi dengan stadium klinis pasien kanker nasofaring di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan pendekatan case-control study. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 68 pasien dengan kanker nasofaring yang diambil data neutrofil dan limfosit pra terapi (sebelum mendapatkan terapi setelah di diagnosis kanker nasofaring) serta data stadium klinis melalui berkas rekam medis dengan menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling dari tahun 2015-2017. Data dianalisis secara statistic dengan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan bermakna antara NLR terhadap stadium klinis kanker nasofaring dengan nilai p=0,00 (p<0.05) dan Odd Ratio (OR) = 56.25. (interval kepercayaan 95% 12.86-245.97). Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang bermakna antara NLR pra terapi dengan stadium klinis pasien kanker nasofaring di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. |

Inggris) | Systemic inflammatory responses are known as a role play in increasing the metastasis and boost the tumor progression, in which the possibility of metastasis is very influential in the progression of cancer patients. Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is one of the parameters that can reflect the inflammatory status in the patient. Progression of cancer patients, especially nasopharyngeal cancer is primarily determined from clinical stage with TNM staging system methods. This study aims to determine the correlation between NLR pre therapy with clinical stage of nasopharyngeal cancer patients in RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. This study uses observational analytic method with case-control study. The subjects of this study were 68 patients with nasopharyngeal cancer which data neutrophil and lymphocytes pre therapy were taken as well as clinical staging data through medical records using consecutive sampling technique from 2015 - 2017. Data were analysed by chi-square test. The result of this study indicate that there is a significant correlation between NLR to clinical stage of nasopharyngeal cancer with p = 0,00 (p <0.05) and Odd Ratio (OR) = 56.25% (95% confidence interval 12.86-245.97). From this study it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between NLR pre-therapy with clinical stage of nasopharyngeal cancer patients in RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto |
